Wear layers. Airline can get warm. The buses from tarmac to gates are not air conditioned.

Make sure if you're flying into Frankfurt via another connection you give yourself more than an hour layover. Immigration is on one end of the airport and security is on the other. The lines were fast but walking from one end to the other takes a while
Verified travelerFlew with Air Canada-May 2025
Always book tickets directly with carrier, even if slightly more expensive. You will get much better support from the carriers airport support staff the calling a 1 800 or other toll free number.

Research on how to get to Stockholm. Taxis are very expensive. Better take the train, it’s cheaper and it reaches the station faster.
Steve and JennieFlew with Lufthansa-Mar 2025
Dresden Airport is underwhelming. It is possible to take the S Bahn into town to both train stations so no need for a taxi.

Pre order your meal for the flight as onboard wasn't very substantial
Verified travelerFlew with Lufthansa-Dec 2024
I would say that the airline needs to provide support in between for people who are running late for their next flight. Maybe have the people whose flight is boarding (because Vancouver plane was late) leave the plane first so they could make their connection or have support once we leave the plane to be transported quickly to the terminal that they have to get to for their next flight. It was incredibly stressful to think I was not going to make my next 3 flights and when I told an attendant that I needed to catch my flight - he could have cared less.
GaryFlew with Lufthansa-Oct 2024
Try to ensure plenty of time if you are flying on from Frankfurt. Our flight from Munich was delayed and when we landed we had a 26 minute run/walk to our connecting flight. We also had to go thru security again and it was painfully slow in Frankfurt. I literally sprinted to my flight as they were preparing to close the door and had them hold it for my wife and two others who were traveling on this flight.
Verified travelerFlew with Lufthansa-Oct 2024
Do not book anything after the flight . Delays are likely
BrandonFlew with Vueling-Jul 2024
Pay to bring a stowaway carry-on. The over head luggage compartments are small so you may have to put your carry on farther back than where you are sitting to find space.
ChrisFlew with Lufthansa-Aug 2024
If you can afford it, take a real airline. Also be aware in Budapest they often scan suitcases in the customs area after bag claim (even on flights arriving within the EU)
PaulinaFlew with Lufthansa-Jul 2024
Make sure you have water when boarding because they charge for everything onboard.
MikeFlew with United Airlines-Jun 2024
Leave yourself enough time. Signage in Munich is very bad and distances between gates can be long and time consuming.
JustinFlew with Austrian Airlines-Aug 2024
Do not trust them, your checked in carry on bag might not make it. Prepare accordingly.
Verified travelerFlew with United Airlines-Mar 2024
They’re likely to check carry ons even though there was plenty of overhead space, pack minimally if traveling carry on only
KatherineFlew with Lufthansa-May 2024
Be prepared for physically demanding boarding, no entertainment and food that has to be purchased.
JasonFlew with Lufthansa-Apr 2024
If you are transferring, give yourself time to get to another terminal

Be prepared to walk a while for connecting flight.

Fly in to Linate, not Malpensa, <alpensa is far , disorganized and inconvenient

Waiting outside for a long time is not really necessary

The flight boarded nice and early and this meant there was no sudden rush at the gate. The only down side was the cabin was very cold 🥶

Flying from Hamburg to Stansted was a nightmare if I have to be honest, the flight was due to leave at 15:50 and we ended up not taking off properly till 16:56. They really don’t have enough people doing the sorting of baggage where you get the sticker for your case before the security check, going through security was 10x more faster then the whole baggage situation.

After passing through boarding gates we had to wait for 45 minutes in a small space with no place to sit.

On time boarding, on time departure and early arrival. As it should be. Yes, the comfort and benefits are very poor, but therefore the ticket is 6 times cheaper than with a flag carrier. So I am not complaining about it. You get what you pay for.

How terrible! Extremely bad! I can not even wait for 5 minutes, because the Berlin airport does not work in the security facilities and can handle people. No communication, although we were assured by about 50 travelers that the airline is informed and is waiting for us.

Good, everything went straight forward and on time, I am satisfied

50 minute of delay on a flight scheduled after 22pm is really annoying. This was even the only flight departing from Frankfurt Hahn on that evening so the delay was inexcusable

We missed the flight due to very slow security control and lack of last call announcement. We only found out at the gate that the gate is closed. Altogether 14 or 15 people missed the flight FR4500 from Cologne to Dublin.

It was ok no problem on flight after the ordeal with passport control. Long line and nasty officers not very helpful.

Good flight but there was no entertainment. I wouldn’t have complained but you asked.

roomiest flight in economy I've taken in years. Excellent experience!

I was disappointed that paying nearly $5000 more for business class for two didn’t really get me any more than a larger seat which as the last row in cabin reclined only mildly and the foot supports were of minimal help and left no room under seat ahead for carton bag. Second, our checked luggage was lost and took us two long days and we’ll after midnight each of them and multiple calls and 30 euro trip to airport in person to finally get them. Would you do this again?

I bought premium economy tickets with a fully flexible fare, and made seats selection for me and my son: window and aisle. After checking in online, Lufthansa cancelled the seat assignment without informing me. As a result, my son and I were assigned mid-center row seats, in different rows. This ruined the trip.

The entertainment system was not working, they tried restarting it couple of times but it did not fix it. We were told to contact Lufthansa costumer service after the flight for some kind of reimbursement. When costumer service was contacted I was told no reimbursement for entertainment system malfunction per policy.

That was the last time I booked Kayak. The connecting flight got canceled and the trouble shooting terrible. Next times, I will book the airlines directly. Good bye

I want to highlight the crew members and their excellent work and professionalism. They work hard to make a long trip the most comfortable as possible, the food and drinks they offer are pretty good. And they are always asking if you need something else. I have had experiences with other airlines where you have to basically beg for a bottle of water. This is not the case. Highly recommended!!!

Way too crampled. Charge more and put in less seats.

I was first assigned a seat that could not recline fully and was at the back of the craft. I was not able to select another seat during check-in even when opting to pay for selecting a different seat. I had to contact the airline and spent 25min with a chatbot and was then transferred to an agent who was very helpful and could change my seat (free of charge). The entire process took me one hour. If I happened to not have that hour available this would have been a problem. And that was only to check in. The next problem is that the airport lounge I had access to is located landside. How strange. So it means that you need to allow time for security check and passport control and boarding time when leaving the lounge, which makes it almost pointless having lounge access unless you have a very long layover or arrive 5 hours before the flight. Inflight service was okay. But not up to par with the likes of QA, SQ or CX, even though the price is the same or even more. It was much better than the domestic flight where Lufthansa is actually a low-cost airline with legacy airline prices.

The plane was too hot inside. There was no entertainment and we had to sit on the plane for one hour before takeoff. There was no free wifi.

You adjourned my flight by 1h 30 mns and only updated me 1h30 mns before the new scheduled flight. I submitted an email to Kayak asking for a refund. It was the most stressful experience I've had.

The airport staff were some of the worst I've ever flown, and I fly at least 50x every year. From the staff at the gate, to the check in staff, to the ticketing sales staff. My experience in Instanbul was so bad Ill.never fly Pegasus again. They were incredibly rude, dismissive and not helpful whatsoever. This is the worst of the worst if you want to fly a budget airline I'd go elsewhere. The airplane seats are really uncomfortable and don't recline at all, you get charged for every single thing so in the end you will pay more flying with them. The crew on the plane were the only kind people we encountered with Pegasus.

Flight from London was delayed and we had to hurry up to catch the connecting flight to Riyadh

The crew were outstandingly kind and cheerful. We carried our cat and they offered help.

Late departure. No announcements. Boarding was a disaster. Some kind of technical issue scanning boarding passes.

Pegasus is a very efficient airline. Passengers, however are sometimes unruly. Getting up right after take off. Getting up right when we land and before getting to the gate. Switching seats to the front so she can get a better seat. It is unfair for those that actually paid for seats. Flight attendants seem to not enforce it. One or two bad actors ruins it. Overall, the airline is great.

Pegasus is not a very comfortable airline. They’re not in any way hospitable

The plane left Istanbul 1 hour late and the AC was not really working great it was so hot inside and no air. This was my worst flight in a long time since I had a flight with Ryanair.

Cheap and cheerful. It’s a super cheap, no frills flight. Very professional and as it’s an A320 relatively spacious. Seats do not recline. Happy with the service. You get what you pay for. Can’t complain

Excellent airline. New planes. Comfortable business class seats. Professional crew

Frankfurt to San Francisco The Site would not let me Upgrade luggage ( paid extra at the airport Had to pay for seats but did not receive those seats Had to pay extra to check in at counter (since I could not upgrade on the app) $25 a person. Unfriendly staff- bordering on rude Check in in San Francisco (to Frankfurt) was smooth, courteous and no extra charges for seats or check in

It was a short flight, maybe an hour long. Everything was handled great.

Missed this flight. $5000 to rebook next day. Horribly rude staff in Frankfurt. Everyone we encountered was either not helpful or outright mean.

Missed connection due to no fault of our own, rude staff across the board, nearly 4 hrs in line for Condor service desk to ‘rebook’. Paid $5000 just to be lucky enough to get home next day.. will never fly with condor again.

Condor's computers do not work. They do not leave enough time to catch a connecting flight. Condor had to book passengers on a different airline to make their destination. They lost my niece and nephew's luggage. The bathroom had pee all over it before the flight took off.

Awful!! We got stuck in the passport line for two hours. Condor acknowledges that the lines are really long but says it is not their problem and would only rebook us in two days. We are stuck in Frankfurt for two days and it cost us $500. Condor stated that they gave us a 1.5 hour layover which was more than enough time and in the next sentence said, yes we know the lines are a problem.

I used Kayak.com to buy plane tickets, which sent me to Underpricer. Immediately upon buying the tickets I started getting phone calls telling me that my "tickets were not guaranteed" unless I paid more money. I told them that if they've sold me on just the idea of a ticket, and not an actual ticket, then refund my money immediately. We argued, but they eventually said they would do that. They didn't, I refused the charge on my CC, the CC company eventually charged me anyway, and Underpricer still didn't cancel that ticket because I kept getting alerts to get on that flight. In complaining to Underpricer, they insist that it's my fault and that the most they can do is refund the fees. This company is using deceptive practices and harassing people, and the company needs to be banned from Kayak and from doing business in the US.

Premium economy meant only extended legroom and when the passenger in front of me leaned back, I lost the little space I paid for. Food was not great. Movie selection is okay. Feels somewhere between a mainstream and a budget airline.

Wish the plane actually landed at a gate instead of on the tarmac and have the passengers board very slow buses.

More legroom for me as a tall person. I shouldn’t have to be discriminated because of my height just like someone’s wheelchair does have to pay extra to be accommodated comfortably.

Good, efficient flights both ways. Didn’t have food and no entertainment so can’t comment on those. Friendly staff that let me move to a row with no one booked.

My flight was delayed and my second flight missed despite a three hour connection in Düsseldorf. My luggage was lost and it took three hours to recover which was actually unfortunately very much barely possible. I needed to rebook a flight that was three times the original cost of the original flight which now I need to go back and recover from the airline. Terrible experience,

Easy checkin, fast luggage drop off, quick boarding, early take off and arrival. The perfect flight! Thanks

Delay after delay: no information besides what my Kayak app provided was provided about the delays. The plane was at the gate. Also, the gate, 100A, was incredibly warm, and the sun was beaming in. Boarding was disorganized with no groups announced.

Kayak - EDreams - Eurowings need to define clearer the hand luggage terms. I asked for add. hang luggage got charged by Eurowings for having add. hand luggage that was not included in my booking. I travel alot! I know the size dimensions never paid twice for hand luggage and cannot chase Edreams or put Eurowings in the wrong. Also there was severe delays on this flight. Issue getting bus on arrival and missed connections. Unfortunate will not use Eurowings

We checked in 4 luggage and only got 3 back & lost our 4th luggage. Our flight was from berlin sept 22. We arrived Copenhagen but only received 3 luggage. Missing 1 still 24 hrs after our arrival and our Cruise will be leaving tomorrow 9/24/2023. This is the second time that our luggage gets lost/delayed in Copenhagen

Filthy plane, obviously not cleaned properly between flights, food crumbles in seat and carpet

Smallest seat I have ever seen. And they had a label with more Legroom but in fact where really tiny.

I was held-up at boarding by rude employee who insisted that I had to wait until all other passengers had boarded the lane before issuing me a boarding pass so I can board the plane. I could not check-in earlier and get a boarding pass since I had flown directly from Dusseldorf.
