Subject: Complaint Regarding Cabin Temperature on Flight SQ447 (DAC–SIN)** Dear Singapore Airlines Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience on flight SQ447 from Dhaka (DAC) to Singapore (SIN). After boarding, it became apparent that the cabin air conditioning was not functioning adequately. When we initially raised the concern, a flight attendant informed us that it would take approximately 10 minutes for the temperature to cool down once the aircraft began operating. We trusted this explanation; however, the cabin remained uncomfortably warm, and many passengers—including my family—were sweating for an extended period. After approximately 45 minutes, I raised the issue again. While the attendant mentioned that adjustments had been made, the response did not reflect the seriousness of the ongoing discomfort. It was only after about an hour into the flight that the temperature finally improved and the cabin became more comfortable. I also spoke with several other passengers seated nearby, and they confirmed they were experiencing the same issue. As a frequent traveler who has always associated Singapore Airlines with high standards of service, this experience was very disappointing. It has made me reconsider choosing this route with your airline in the future. I hope you will review this incident and take the necessary steps to ensure that such situations are handled more promptly and professionally going forward. The business class seats were very uncomfortable. When in lie flat position my legs were very restricted.

I very much liked and appreciated the service on board. The seating arrangement in Business feels uncomfortable. It's not made for tall people, in any case.

Good airlines, travelled 🧳 n Singapore multiple times and experience is consistent

I requested an aisle seat and got a middle seat The flight gate was changed and the flight was delayed

The stewardess was very helpful all the way. My seat had an issue with headphones and after the replaced and gave me a new pair and noticed it was the seat I got a new chair to sit and a great ride back home

Due to the delay of my first flight, my connecting flight with JetBlue was canceled by Singapore Airlines, but the JetBlue crew was very accommodating and rebooked a seat for me. The crew was very nice and had good attitude.

We still get drinks and a snack. Love the gift bags too.

I'm not interested in improving the airline. Therefore, I won't explain this in more detail. Next time I'll try a different one.

Except that our flight was cancelled, by mail, and later moved to 12 hours prior, then the experience was good. In Bangkok we were offered a hotel, it was fine, but would have been nice to know in advance😉

They used Thai Smile plane, which is a smaller model and used to service only domestic flights; hence, the plane is small and quite compact. No entertainment on the flight. While boarding was delayed, it was done in a quick manner.

Entertainment is limited with a relatively old catalogue. Wi-Fi never works and the cabin and lavatory had evidence of a lot of scuff marks and temporary repairs. Nothing unsafe, but a bit tatty in places.

I enjoy flying with Thai Airways, however their B788 business class configuration is quite dated. Additionally , while the service is always friendly and efficient, I’m getting tired of the same “usual suspects” when it comes to food choices. Since it was a lunchtime flight, what about some gourmet sandwiches or some type of salad dish for the main course? The entertainment options are also quite limited and this is not unique to TG, so much so that given the short duration of the flight I ended up not bothering with any entertainment. Finally, despite signs around the cabin advising wifi available, I was unable to con-net and in fact I’ve never been able to connect on any TG flight over the last year or so - what’s the go here??

The flight attendants ignored us several times which was annoying. The sandwich thing wasn't very good but it's only an hour flight, it would have been better to have entertainment over bad food.

Check in was a disaster. 90 minutes and only 2 economy check in desks open. Had to rush to catch the flight.

I couldnt go on this flight and lost all my money over 1,000 UK Pounds as my visa to Myanmar was not accepted :(

Short flight. Bare bones and kinda seeming like an older plane. But got me there on time and that's what counts. Perfectly fine flight all the way from start to finish.

Great! They got my vegetarian meal right, flight was comfortable, they helped store my heavy luggage. Pleasant crew and flight staff.

One thing I really liked about Austrian Airlines was that the flight attendants were very kind, and the in-flight entertainment offered many choices. One thing that could be improved is the meal service, since only a vegetarian option was offered — it would be better to have at least two choices.

We had a wonderful experience overall. The only issue was check-in our luggage at the Split Airport counter. It was very confusing because we needed to pay for baggage.

Tirana was crazy check in and getting bussed to another gate. Both Germany stops were intensive customs but organized, but that wasn't the airlines problem. The crews were fabulous on the planes. The announcements were not easy to understand in English, slurred speech. Customs inthe US were fast. We waited for luggage, three later arriving planes had their luggage and left before us

I paid for carry-on bag, but they did not let me take it on board, persuaded to check it in because the flight was full. I agreed to help them out, and they mixed up tag numbers and my bag got lost. I had very valuable things in there, and my whole vacation experience was ruined. I even asked the boarding assistant why the tag number was different from the assigned one, but they assured me it was alright and the bag will arrive to my destination. Nothing arrived of course. Incompetence of boarding assistants cost me the loss of all my things.

Again, delays. That route from VIE to RMO gets regular delay all the time.

No delays, helpful staff, well organised. The check in and boarding procedures ran smoothly. The only thing that put me off is that the meal had spicy peppers in. I would have appreciated at least a warning (if i couldn't have a choice) so as to simply not eat them because they were too spicy.

Austrian was not the issue. Kayak was terrible The flight was canceled. Frustrating but it can happen. The worst was Kayak's customer support around re-booking. I have chatted with a bot, than with a person who insisted the flight was still on as originally booked. while chatting i went on Austrian web page and told the kayak chat lady that the flight is shown as cancelled. She said she will escalate this and that someone will contact me within the hour. When I have asked her to give me the details of the flight she sees, She gave me the general A to B and return B to A. Totally unhelpful. After two hours I contacted them again, They were still saying the original flight is as scheduled and when I explained again I was told I will be contacted within 2-6 hours. NO ONE CONTACTED ME EVER SINCE! I have than contacted Austrian directly and was rebooked on a difficult flight. Kayak continued to send me irrelevant updates about my original flight. Terrible customer service at time of need.

There were a number of passengers scheduled to transfer to the flight from Vienna to Warsaw. None of them made it because the crew failed to assist them in getting to the gate for the Warsaw bound flight in time. It could have been done very easily with proper assistance.

Seats too much and for the price we paid eve thought economy we still had to pay $169 to check a ba that’s ridiculous and also my daughter needed water so she can take her medicine we push the boton for the attendant to get us water they never came we push it 3 times no one came and ask what we needed . The entertainment center of my seat wasn’t working. I asked the crew many times to restart it and they that will be done by the next crew that take control of the flight in São Paulo. Bad attitude during the whole flight

My checked bag did not get loaded on the aircraft in Istanbul. Other than that, the flight was smooth, on time and the crew was friendly, efficient, and professional.

The seat did not recline and we called the stewardess, he forced it to recline, but when we landed, it did not come forward because the seat was broken. The stewardess came, He tried to do it but couldn't do it, the flight commander came and spoke to us in a bad tone, telling us to get out of here, she waited at the head and acted as if there was a child and we couldn't get up, it was very shameful, I don't even know if it's true, but she said if you don't get up, the plane will not land and will keep turning around. Then a passenger pushed the seat from behind and it worked. Then we wanted to talk to the supervisor again, but she did not come next to us. We fly so much and this is the first time we encountered such a style.

Okay experience, seats had a very poor legroom and width. Very uncomfortable for long journeys.

Friendly crew. Computer systems had trouble keeping my Star Alliance status linked to my reservation. Inflight Wi-Fi was slow and expensive. No standard power outlet, but medium-power USB-C port slowly charged my laptop. No option to buy whisky in economy.

We missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt do to security and all hell ensued then.we got rebooked to Washington got there round 10 am ish didn't find out till 630 we were rerouted to United!! Then we started getting updates

Boarding arrangement at Frankfurt was terribly managed with no proper guidance and the flight was parked far away from the gate. In flight entertainment device (touch screen) was not working at all throughout the flight. And on top of all this two of the checked in bags were found to be missing when we landed at Chennai. All this mismanagement at a very high fare of about $2300 per ticket is unacceptable.

Movie selection was nice and chicken with rice dinner was good. I did not like the pizza thing they served for breakfast/lunch. It was like a hot pocket but mostly bread. A small sandwich or cheese and cracker snack and fruit etc would have been much better. Also they did not announce trash pick up so a lot of trash was left by everyone when departing.

Water in bottle and a piece of chocolate were given. We did have movies to watch.

Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!

Paid $35 for wifi but wifi didn’t work. Stressful dealing with work mess and no service. Otherwise normal

The food on this flight was better than what we had getting to Rome. The flight was comfortable and the staff was great. One of the staff members was a stickler about the blankets in the aisle, which I get, but still. Overall, great flight and will fly with them again!

Pretty poor across the board - flight details wrong/delayed into Lufthansa app. Seat changes made without notification. Boarding delayed (ok, that happens) but all comms in German (for flight to UK, where 85% of passengers were English). Outright fraud attempted at gate, denying 1 piece carry-on of smaller than correct size and 1 piece personal item, again, smaller than correct size. Rude gate staff. Security checks perfunctory - unattended bag not acknowledged by staff..then put on aircraft unclaimed by staff.

The flight was half an hour late, as happens these days always in Europe. Otherwise, fine. Friendly crew.
