Austrian Airlines was fine - it was the Munich airport’s system for boarding with new EES requirements. Instructions were confusing, waiting lines were LONG and many people had to run to catch their flights.
1) have phone numbers where we can call... a human... not this bot stuff... 2) the austrian airlines crew directs us to the airport lost and found for left behind objects, then the airport lost and found directs us back to them. Listen y'all, if you can't get this straight, what are you thinking expecting us to? Cheap, unprofessional, looks like a airline on the way to going under. If you can't afford well-trained staff... well... ask not for whom be bell tolls... it tolls for you.
This is truly the worst travel experience of my life. The UK ETA program had a technical failure, and I was stuck in limbo for 24 hours, unable to board my flight and unable to navigate anything in my itinerary. I had to rebook an entirely new flight and I’m now out doubled the money. Unconscionable.
Boarding by bus - this is 2026! Luggage did not board the plane though we had over two hours between flights. After it was located it didn’t fly immediately but waited one or two flights until boarding to fly yo Belgrade.
Accommodate the passangers at the gates. They only allow groups 1-3 to sit near/at the gate. We had to wait 3 HRs an had to look for a seat far away from the gate. Other than that was like other Airports.
Loved the courtesy and punctuality. Very professional and most importantly on time.
Despite the booked seats in front of the land we were moved to the back of the plane even first like 8 lines were totally without pasangers. When I tried to sit on empty seat flight attendant asked me to go to my dedicated seat in the fully crowded back of the plane. She was not able to explain why. Food was very poor on flight LAX - VIE.
WiFi would have been nice and some more powerful usb ports, available ports could not keep my phone’s charge much less charge the phone.
I paid for carry-on bag, but they did not let me take it on board, persuaded to check it in because the flight was full. I agreed to help them out, and they mixed up tag numbers and my bag got lost. I had very valuable things in there, and my whole vacation experience was ruined. I even asked the boarding assistant why the tag number was different from the assigned one, but they assured me it was alright and the bag will arrive to my destination. Nothing arrived of course. Incompetence of boarding assistants cost me the loss of all my things.
Food: my selection was pasta with vegetables, though it was potatoes not pasta. Breakfast was 2 rolls and some sort of spreads— not sure what they were. Worst thing was that we had to wait for over 90 minutes for our bags to show up at O’Hare
It flight had a maintenance issue, that should be part of of preventative maintenance, and then they completely mismanaged the passengers on the buses. A terrible experience.
Loved the towel at the end. Service was frequent and perfect.

Absolutely horrible. We missed both of our connecting flights from Frankfort due to the new border control lines. Lufthansa had us running and walking around the airport trying to rebook. They were not prepared to offer us a hotel room for the night, but finally relented when I said I was done with Lufthansa, most were not so lucky. I also put put of the blame in Kayak. You need to update which connecting flights you are offering to allow for more time to deal with the mess that is border control in the EU.
Cheapflights did not forward the payment for seat assignments, and my partner and I were separated and given center (B and E) seats. Will be requesting a refund.
Connecting in Frankfurt was a nightmare! Whoever scheduled our connection in Frankfurt for 90 minutes should be fired! Passport control takes 3 hours, minimum! Avoid Frankfurt airport at all costs! Never again! The airport is 3rd world. The WORST!
This flight had way more space than my international flight which is just embarrassing
Pretty poor across the board - flight details wrong/delayed into Lufthansa app. Seat changes made without notification. Boarding delayed (ok, that happens) but all comms in German (for flight to UK, where 85% of passengers were English). Outright fraud attempted at gate, denying 1 piece carry-on of smaller than correct size and 1 piece personal item, again, smaller than correct size. Rude gate staff. Security checks perfunctory - unattended bag not acknowledged by staff..then put on aircraft unclaimed by staff.
Missed the flight due to delays, waited hours for someone to finally do something to help, get on a flight 10 hours later only to have the plane deviate to Greece and made us spend the night in Greece and get on a flight the next day. It was a 3 day trip and the worst experience of traveling we've ever been through.
The flight was half an hour late, as happens these days always in Europe. Otherwise, fine. Friendly crew.
