From the checking in process making sure that the correct groups board in order, the food on board included in price of air ticket with a special request for dietary requirements, to arriving ahead of schedule and great WiFi connection included on board.
Crew was great, service was good, flight went well. Originally, the flight was advertised with WiFi… including during check in… and nada.
Aegan Airlines compensates for its outdated business-class seats with excellent food and onboard crew service. Launge was also excellent.
For a business class, it barely met the standards of a basic economy on most carriers. The seat would barely recline; no pillow or blanket unless you ask a crew member; no leg rest (at least in the 1st row). The crew was friendly and attentive, except for one male crew member who was very inconsiderate toward many business passengers who were already sleeping or trying to sleep, slamming the doors of the kitchen compartments. He did so twice till another passenger complained to him. Overall, business class is an economy experience except for the food.
Seats that recline. Ice for soft drinks. No charge for did drinks. Wifi.
Aegean Airlines was great! Great spirit, very helpful and efficient. Overall Aegean Airlines was a great experience.
The flight was full. The young man in the seat in front of me had reclined and I asked him to put the seat up just a bit because it was encroaching my space quite a lot. Turned out he couldn't because the mechanism was broken. The choice was all the way up or all the way down, no in-between.
The flight was absolutely fine. Unfortunately it was delayed by an hour due to unforeseen reasons.
Agean Airlines are the best!!! Kind and pretty personnel willing to help you any time! Kind with the kids and smiley faces! And the only airlines to serve food and drink for free! Yes! This is GREEK HOSPITALITY!! Great job!!
Very delayed. Plus lack of entertainment on board. Crew members were very nice
Lufthansa has a bag policy unique to Lufthansa. We all had a small carry on and a backpack (personal item) that we carried with us through multiple other connecting flights, no problem. With Lufthansa we were charged 80 euros each for the carry on at the gate, for this one flight. When asked they said they made an announcement… problem being that we had just arrived to the gate from a connecting flight and didn’t hear an announcement. While we were standing at the counter paying the ridiculous fee several other people were stopped, while countless others boarded with the same type of luggage and were not stopped. Crazy. Good news though, when we got on the plane half of the overhead bins were empty! After an already horrible experience the lady at the counter was also terrible, so that helped round things out.
Delayed over 2 hours. Bring your own snacks or prepare to pay. No entertainment and no plug plugs for charging.
The flight was about 10 minutes late which made it kind of tight for connection in Frankfurt. One think that was helpful for my husband and I since we don’t speak the language was when we got off the shuttle bus, two ground crew told us very clearly how to make the connection.
Flight from Munich to Geneva was delayed an hour without any notice. Finally called 5 minutes after their flight was supposed to leave only to be told it was late. Then after boarding- we were told to leave the plane go back to the terminal so they could make a repair. NO Communication whatsoever. Agent at the airport was rude and offensive. Finally got on the plane three hours after originally planned. Lost our car reservation in Geneva and had to pay $200 more to get the rental. HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE!!!!
I remember flying with Lufthansa many years ago, and it used to be an amazing airline with more technologically savvy and roomy planes, but unfortunately that isn’t the case anymore. The space between the seats is much smaller, which is ok for short flights, but definitely not for across the Atlantic flights. Not sure if I’ll opt for Lufthansa the next time, maybe just if necessary.
Boarding delayed 1.5 hours. Ended up sick because of all the delays and lines waiting around airport and boarding.
They failed to make sure all luggage made it onto the flight. I had to spend a week on vacation with no clothes.
No internet for most of the flight. Very narrow seats. Food was bad. Flight was nearly an hour late with perfect weather, crew offered no explanation or compensation.
The flight has been delayed and arrived 30 minutes late. I had a very tough connection in Frankfurt, I had to run to catch my flight to Newark and Lufthansa was absolutely not helpful. They just told me I have to hurry but didn't tell me where I should go , I was very disappointed
I missed my connection. Lufthansa did a great job helping me get a new flight. My luggage arrived on the same plane as I did. That was astonishing.
They only checked us in 30 mins before the flight leaving us a very short time to go through security and getting to the gate And last but not least - My luggage has not arrived to my destination
The passenger next to me passed out and the crew was helpless. Luckily there was a paramedic on board.
