Lufthansa has a bag policy unique to Lufthansa. We all had a small carry on and a backpack (personal item) that we carried with us through multiple other connecting flights, no problem. With Lufthansa we were charged 80 euros each for the carry on at the gate, for this one flight. When asked they said they made an announcement… problem being that we had just arrived to the gate from a connecting flight and didn’t hear an announcement. While we were standing at the counter paying the ridiculous fee several other people were stopped, while countless others boarded with the same type of luggage and were not stopped. Crazy. Good news though, when we got on the plane half of the overhead bins were empty! After an already horrible experience the lady at the counter was also terrible, so that helped round things out.

Delayed over 2 hours. Bring your own snacks or prepare to pay. No entertainment and no plug plugs for charging.

The flight was about 10 minutes late which made it kind of tight for connection in Frankfurt. One think that was helpful for my husband and I since we don’t speak the language was when we got off the shuttle bus, two ground crew told us very clearly how to make the connection.

Flight from Munich to Geneva was delayed an hour without any notice. Finally called 5 minutes after their flight was supposed to leave only to be told it was late. Then after boarding- we were told to leave the plane go back to the terminal so they could make a repair. NO Communication whatsoever. Agent at the airport was rude and offensive. Finally got on the plane three hours after originally planned. Lost our car reservation in Geneva and had to pay $200 more to get the rental. HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE!!!!

I remember flying with Lufthansa many years ago, and it used to be an amazing airline with more technologically savvy and roomy planes, but unfortunately that isn’t the case anymore. The space between the seats is much smaller, which is ok for short flights, but definitely not for across the Atlantic flights. Not sure if I’ll opt for Lufthansa the next time, maybe just if necessary.

Boarding delayed 1.5 hours. Ended up sick because of all the delays and lines waiting around airport and boarding.

They failed to make sure all luggage made it onto the flight. I had to spend a week on vacation with no clothes.

No internet for most of the flight. Very narrow seats. Food was bad. Flight was nearly an hour late with perfect weather, crew offered no explanation or compensation.

The flight has been delayed and arrived 30 minutes late. I had a very tough connection in Frankfurt, I had to run to catch my flight to Newark and Lufthansa was absolutely not helpful. They just told me I have to hurry but didn't tell me where I should go , I was very disappointed

Flight was great but the after words was a nightmare. Flight from Munich to Greece was cancelled and I wasn’t notified. After 4 hrs Tuesday morning if trying to get a flight I was told I was all set. Get to Munich and went to get my boarding pass and they don’t have reservations for me to continue my trip. They rebooked me gave me 3 boarding passes. Had to go to Heathrow then Athens and finally zaykanthos. Well Aegean airlines did not accept my boarding pass issued by Lufthansa. Said I didn’t have a ticket with them. Again had to stay at airport til next morning to talk with Lufthansa. They rebooked me to Frankfurt and the flight was delayed so missed my connecting flight. They had rebooked me for Saturday(2dayslater)to go to zaykanthos which didn’t serve me as I had ticket to go to Mykonos. So from ties to Friday all I’ve done was bounce around from one airport to another. Hoping to make it today to Mykonos but on my own for hotel stay and any other expenses!!! So frustrating and wasted 3 vacation days at airports!!!!! Not happy camper and only 3 employees of all the ones I dealt with of Lufthansa were kind and helpful. The rest were asymptomatic and broader line rude.

They only checked us in 30 mins before the flight leaving us a very short time to go through security and getting to the gate And last but not least - My luggage has not arrived to my destination

The passenger next to me passed out and the crew was helpless. Luckily there was a paramedic on board.
