KAYAK’s top tips for finding a cheap flight from Seattle to Berlin

  • When traveling to Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt (BER) from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), ensure you are at the airport 3h before your scheduled departure time. This enables you to clear all security checkpoints on time.
  • You can drive to the airport and leave your car at SEA's long-term parking spots. However, you should book a spot two days before your flight so that the parking company can give you details of where your parking spot is located. You can find long-term parking at the terminal garage.
  • If you require special needs assistance, contact your airline and inform them. They can arrange how you can be picked up from the SEA drop-off zone and taken to the departure terminals. Due to the increased demand for such cases, it's recommended that you consult with your airline as you make a reservation.
  • Once you arrive at BER, you can stream shows and music while waiting for the arrival queue to be short. BER offers free Internet connectivity to everyone in all terminals.
  • If you need to inquire about where you can pick a cab or catch a bus, you can head to the BER information desks located at check-in region terminal 1, at the departures level E1, and the arrivals region at level E0.

The ticket was reserved in my name but not paid for by underpricer. Alaska airlines was unable to issue my ticket (could not connect the ticket with the PNR) due to an error with underpricer and I spent the better part of 2 hours at the ticket counter trying to rectify.

Damage May baggage and I report the airport agant and they see it

I had no idea that my ticket only paid for my right to get on the plane. They charged me $130 for my carry-on bag because it was 1 inch too big she claimed but it wasn’t! Then they wanted another fee for everything. I had no idea that Icelandair had changed to such a bargain basement airline. I was very disappointed.

The staff was kind and helpful. There was no food, and you needed to bring your own earphones to use the entertainment, which I didn’t know.

Problems checking in both on the laptop and on the app. No free seating available at check-in as advertised - must pay for EVERY seat between $23 and $75. No way to cancel seat choice. App menus and site menus are not responsive, and some items are impossible to find. Crew and mobile assistance are friendly and helpful.

Seat was hard and uncomfortable and the temperature too warm and uncomfortable.

Everything was good. Only issue comes from being vegan and flying. The food options are super limited.

Overall good for an economy fare. IMO the movie selection could be improved. Great that you can now connect bluetooth headphones to the entertainment system.

7 hours 15 min flight from SEA to Iceland with no inflight entertainment and no power to charge your own devices, also no meal service, not even any snacks/cookies. You have to buy food and the options are extremely limited (i.e. ham and cheese sandwich and spicy cup noodles). I didn't think Iceland air was a budget airline, maybe I was wrong, the cost of the ticket didn't feel like it though.

Very nice flight, easy connections in Keflavík, and friendly crew.

Could have a friendlier crew. The entertainment should be updated to be more current

One of the bathrooms was out of order, I paid $20 for the WiFi and it worked 20% of the time. And when it worked., it didn’t work well. The seats were tight, but that is something that cannot change. The flight was smooth but to know fault of the crew, the flight was delayed an hour leaving sfo. The crew was polite yet efficient.

Loved the staff in business class. Very attentive. Movie selection could have been better (updated)

The attendants were nice, but I was freezing the entire nine hours and so cramped. Please provide more blankets or make it known how to borrow a blanket for such a long flight. Even in already expensive economy class, people really need a bit more leg room and two more inches between seats to comfortably fly for 9 hours. Our family works very hard, but the extra expense of economy plus is just not in a lot of customer's budgets, and we still want to fly in equal peace and comfort. Please create future aircrafts that reveal reasonable care for us, the cramped- to- death customers more than the question of "how can we jam a few more human beings into this already cramped flight to impress our higher ups making a few more dollars. It's just Wrong. People need a reasonable amount of leg room and a blanket when the airline attendant said the extreme air conditioning could not be turned off. The food was tasty, but a bit more protein and less fluff would be appreciated. Thank you.

It was very good! Crew was very friendly, food was very good. I was on economy so the comfort was ok. Other than that, I would fly Condor again!

Breakfast was terrible. Sugary yogurt, inferior pastry, poor quality fruits. No protein.

Really, nothing. I flew economy, and received a very good economy experience.

Flight attendants were polite but not attentive. They did not clean cabin throughout trip, and the airplane upon disembarking looked disastrous! Garbage everywhere ! The state of the cabin did NOT leave passenger with a ‘cared-for’ feeling. It looked a total mess. They also closed themselves off in the back of the plane and passengers felt like they needed to knock to get a glass of water. Very dissppointing.

The seats are too close to the ones in front.

Not a valued customer..just a herd of cattles that is being shuffled around. Employees just lie into your face. Last time I flew with LH companies. No customer service at all. The customer is their enemy.
