No control at all at the gate , passengers were not cuing up, , some were very loud , no action taken by the attendants . It looked more like a heard of animals then humans boarding a plane .
Online check in and seat assignments are terrible. All 4 flights
Changed to older plane with old set-up in Business class.
Requested food items were always finished but the available food was warm and tasted good Good entertainment options.

flight was full and folks coming from Dubai all wear this strong perfume (OUD) which is annoying. Also, not sure why but these fools all stand up and get ready to bail once the plane stops. they seem to all run for the door which is funny AF. Plane was a 2 4 2 configuration and kind of an older plane with USB connection. Food wasn't that great either. Not sure i'd take this airline again since i have no plans on going to Istanbul again. Emirates is definitely better if you want to go from US to DXB,
Absolute worst airline. Charged us $720 to check 4 bags (2 of which were carry-on). Entertainment systems didnt work. And on a 12 hour flight they served 2 meals and never once came around outside of those 2 meals with a beverage or cup of water. Will never fly them again.
This is really the rating of two flights. JFK to IST then IST to NQZ. New York to Istanbul was good. Good crew and all positives. The flight to Astana was so bad that brought it all down. Crew was nonexistent above the minimum, seats were cramped, and it was hot on the plane. Turkish Airlines seems to be slipping down to US based carriers level.
The seat did not recline and we called the stewardess, he forced it to recline, but when we landed, it did not come forward because the seat was broken. The stewardess came, He tried to do it but couldn't do it, the flight commander came and spoke to us in a bad tone, telling us to get out of here, she waited at the head and acted as if there was a child and we couldn't get up, it was very shameful, I don't even know if it's true, but she said if you don't get up, the plane will not land and will keep turning around. Then a passenger pushed the seat from behind and it worked. Then we wanted to talk to the supervisor again, but she did not come next to us. We fly so much and this is the first time we encountered such a style.
Staff didnt want to work, had to get up to get food and ear plugs myself even after calling the attendant multiple times. Both bags were not recieved in Dubai, called the next day to confirm bags were recieved and had to go to airport to pick up the bags. Now coming back to LAX one bag made it and the other bag is still missing.

It was very good. It was a long flight and being a tight with little leg room.
My carry on bag was taken by Alaska Air as we boarded in LAX! She said there was not room. There was plenty of room. I told her that my meds and personal items were in it. She did not care. She said it would be sent to my final destination, Nairobi. Well it got to Nairobi the day I was to fly home. The handle of my bag was crushed so could not retract. So I had to remove it. I had to buy converters, malaria medication. personal items. I filled out the missing form at the Nairobi airport. I asked that it be shipped to the Kisumu airport. When it was obviously not going to make it for my time in Kenya. I asked that it be sent to John Wayne Airport. NONE of that happened. I only knew it was at Nairobi because my air tag indicated it was finally in Nairobi the day I was leaving Kenya! Now I need to purchase a new carry on bag!!!
Terrible airlines - suffered entire flight due to food poisoning from stale food
Qatar Airlines code share with Indigo has been a terrible experience for me on these notes: 1. Indigo changed by flight without informing me of the change, they did not ask me if I am okay with the change. I discovered this change when I was trying to do online check-in through the Qatar mobile app. When I called Qatar customer support, they mentioned Indigo changed my flight due to the original flight being cancelled, but the fact is that flight was scheduled and departed correctly, it was never cancelled. 2. When asked why my flight was changed without informing me, they mentioned that they sent email/phone call to my travel agent, and it is was my travel agent that did not inform me, which again was another false statement. 3. I called Qatar Airlines (third call on the day of my trip) to request them to put me back on the same flight, they mentioned that they could for an extra $2500, as the original class I was booked on was not available, we are still talking economy only not business class, I said no way. 4. I called the travel agent, and they mentioned that they will work with Indigo and asked me to be prepared to travel on the later flight I was bumped to. While I was making my hotel/taxi arrangements for the new flight, I got a call and email saying they were able to get me on the original flight with no extra cost. So, after 2+ hours of talking to customer support, and a lot of stress on my last day of vacation, I flew back as originally scheduled, but this nightmare is just a horrible experience that I will never fly on Indigo/Qatar again. This was a really enjoyable flight. Even though I was in economy, I had a great deal of leg space, I had a nice meal, and the flight staff was helpful and friendly. A really great flight.
The seats did not have foot rest. If there is no foot rest you can’t sleep.
I was not able to check in online before the travel. It showed some error. I remember I could not do this during my onward journey. I called Qatar and they said there was a glitch.
Found out we were limited to one carry on item per person as we checked in and weight. This requirement has never happened to us before. Then we get on the plane and it's apparent why. There is barely any space on this plane. I sat in the middle row middle seat and shared a single section of leg room with the stranger next to me. Had to put my backpack in the overhead which barely fit and made it so I didn't want to bother getting my things out of it later like my eye mask. There was an angry man complaining about his seat and demanding to be switched for a good 15 to 20 minutes as we were boarding. To the flight attendants' credit, they didn't give into him (not that they could have), but it definitely made for an unpleasant experience. Also there was a child running up and down the aisle during the flight including takeoff and landing. The crew told the parents but they just smiled and continued letting the kid do this. This was p annoying and not to mention dangerous for the kid
Flight changed to Oman air under one alliance . Seating , entertainment was not up to the quality of QR . Hope my trip back from cmb Doh will operate a QR flight instead of any other under one alliance .
