Lufthansa has a bag policy unique to Lufthansa. We all had a small carry on and a backpack (personal item) that we carried with us through multiple other connecting flights, no problem. With Lufthansa we were charged 80 euros each for the carry on at the gate, for this one flight. When asked they said they made an announcement… problem being that we had just arrived to the gate from a connecting flight and didn’t hear an announcement. While we were standing at the counter paying the ridiculous fee several other people were stopped, while countless others boarded with the same type of luggage and were not stopped. Crazy. Good news though, when we got on the plane half of the overhead bins were empty! After an already horrible experience the lady at the counter was also terrible, so that helped round things out.

Delayed over 2 hours. Bring your own snacks or prepare to pay. No entertainment and no plug plugs for charging.

I remember flying with Lufthansa many years ago, and it used to be an amazing airline with more technologically savvy and roomy planes, but unfortunately that isn’t the case anymore. The space between the seats is much smaller, which is ok for short flights, but definitely not for across the Atlantic flights. Not sure if I’ll opt for Lufthansa the next time, maybe just if necessary.

Boarding delayed 1.5 hours. Ended up sick because of all the delays and lines waiting around airport and boarding.

They failed to make sure all luggage made it onto the flight. I had to spend a week on vacation with no clothes.

No internet for most of the flight. Very narrow seats. Food was bad. Flight was nearly an hour late with perfect weather, crew offered no explanation or compensation.

Like: friendliness of crew, accessible water upon request, quality in general Dislike: No mask requirements on board or airport, should be changed back to mandatory mask wearing fire everyone above 5 years of age.

I missed my connection. Lufthansa did a great job helping me get a new flight. My luggage arrived on the same plane as I did. That was astonishing.

Enough leg room, no drinks or snacks. Looked like they were very good with the children
