Apparently there was a medical emergency after boarding was completed. It took nearly two hours to resolve the situation and get the passengers in the air. I feel the near two hour delay was excessive and should have been handled better (we saw the woman who had the “emergency” walk off the plane without assistance).
Air china experience was good but other part of flight in my trip wasn’t good.
It was a good flight , only problem they left my Koffer at Frankfort and it took another 24 hours to get it at Leipzig that was my final destination
Food was terrible. Bamboo utensils are just not working out. A lot of plastic waste. Pillows and blankets were not good, a lot of static electricity. Crew did their job well.
The crew could deploy more customer focus and not frown when asked a question. I’m speaking of one lady in particular who raised a hand in my face for me to wait whe I tried to ask a question and never came back to me. Very unprofessional and rude.
They set someone on our assigned seats and we ended up finding seats for ourselves to ensure the family sits together.
Lufthansa crew both on the ground and in the sky were wonderful. I booked wheelchair service for all of our flights and it was handled perfectly. Kudos to all at Lufthansa.
So poor I will endeavour to never fly with them again. Booked flight direct with Lufthansa, LHR to Leipzig, with stop in Frankfurt. Transfer in Frankfurt, via app and website was a '9min walk'...it, quite simply is not - it was a complete terminal change, with passport control & 2nd security check. No guidance provided by gate staff. Missed connection (despite agents at passport control granting line bypass and running for 750m). No assistance from gate agents at missed flight (along with approximately 15 other passengers that didn't make connection. Lufthansa Service Centre staff helpful - their manager was not, stated it was our fault for not leaving enough time to make transfer, revoked compensation....err, how are we supposed to know about construction, new security procedures, late gate changes??? Really??? We went were airline sent us, at pace, they messed up (twice on both legs of journey). Will avoid at all costs in future.
Both of my flights on Lufthansa (coming and going) were cancelled. I was rebooted on united airlines, separated from my family/traveling partners. On our flight to luxembourgh we ended up in seats separated by several rows on the long flight, although we PAID to sit together. On the return trip we ended up on 3 completely different flights. When speaking to Lufthansa they didn't even acknowledge the outbound flights were cancelled. We were unable to meet with traveling companions in Chicago as we were flown to Denver. The quality of service, customer service and food between united and Lufthansa cannot be compared. The food on united was not attractive and the taste was similar to school lunch food. Not close to the meals I have had on Lufthansa. Hardly an equal "trade". I was unhappy with my travel experience on this trip.
Staff was nice. Plane was new and clean. The food/sandwich was horrible. Absolutely disgusting for a four hour flight. I’d rather not get anything.
