The preboarding and the gate organizing management was poor, unorganized and mismanaged. While standing in the business line I kept getting ignored and the personnel kept checking in others, right in front of me until I finally spoke up and pointed out their clear signs of ignoring me while patiently waiting to be checked in. Once checked in the gate the personnel kept chit-chatting and not managing which group is to board, being totally nonchalant, unorganized and behaving amateur-like . Very unprofessional and unlike the quality the Austrian Airlines brand otherwise provides. The crew on the plane are always fantastic and the best. What a shame the crew on the ground was so mediocre.
Flight delayed with no explanation. Boarding was confused (proceed to plane, go back to waiting area).
Not so good. I paid for a preference economic seat, and I couldn’t incline it back because it was blocked. They explained me that because is the last before emergency exit. The company new that but it was not explained in the seat selection
Pleasant up to Vienna. Afterward (Vienna- Zagreb) was an horrific experience
Austrian airlines lost my bag in Vienna and it took 2 days to find it and deliver it to me
I paid for carry-on bag, but they did not let me take it on board, persuaded to check it in because the flight was full. I agreed to help them out, and they mixed up tag numbers and my bag got lost. I had very valuable things in there, and my whole vacation experience was ruined. I even asked the boarding assistant why the tag number was different from the assigned one, but they assured me it was alright and the bag will arrive to my destination. Nothing arrived of course. Incompetence of boarding assistants cost me the loss of all my things.
The baggage arrived damaged and i spent EUR 300 on the baggage a month ago. No responsibility from airline or the handles.

I flew business class. But nothing compare to business class. Lounge closed in Vienna. Not exist at all in Tel Aviv. Priority boarding not exist in Tel Aviv despite available business counter. Nobody in front of me was checked in to Business or with Senator status. No welcome drinks. All overall awful experience.
Changed to older plane with old set-up in Business class.

On the Boeing 777-300 aircraft there is no personalized climate control for passengers. Every time I've ever flown on this type of airplane I've been uncomfortably warm. For shorter flights (less than 5 hours) this isn't a big deal, but on longer flights where a nap is required to stay comfortable it turns into a nightmare. I love turkish airlines, but I really fo hope they upgrade their fleet. I've flown turkish air once on a newer model and had a fantastic time, so I think its the plane more than the airline.
I felt the AVM was bad. They could have done better and felt the route was much long theb expected otherwise it was good experience.
The flight starts at 7am from New Delhi, a supremely inconvenient time, especially, if you are coming from another smaller city. Please consider moving it to 4am or 5am.
You need to weight all bags together because we were 2 and we allowed 4 bags plus hand carry and personal items. We trying to saved bag like we put our stuff in 3 bags so we don’t have to carry more bags and airline also save space time less bags less work. We had only 1.6 kg over and we requested crew he said it’s airline policy that you need separate bag that’s ruined our mod and carry that suit in our hand in plastic bag he didn’t understand that we have less bags that make sense if we brought over luggage then it’s problem. I think if you guys change your policy and weight all together that will be good
It was good. Turkish Airlines is one of the best airlines companies. I like a lot to travel with them
The seat did not recline and we called the stewardess, he forced it to recline, but when we landed, it did not come forward because the seat was broken. The stewardess came, He tried to do it but couldn't do it, the flight commander came and spoke to us in a bad tone, telling us to get out of here, she waited at the head and acted as if there was a child and we couldn't get up, it was very shameful, I don't even know if it's true, but she said if you don't get up, the plane will not land and will keep turning around. Then a passenger pushed the seat from behind and it worked. Then we wanted to talk to the supervisor again, but she did not come next to us. We fly so much and this is the first time we encountered such a style.
I found the food to be surprisingly tasty. Loved the larger blanket and foot rests made a huge difference on overall comfort. The service was very efficient (but not very friendly:).
I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Turkish Airlines, one I felt compelled to share. Firstly, the staff’s attitude left much to be desired. I encountered consistent rudeness both onboard and from the customer service team. To illustrate, I lost my eyeglasses on the plane. When I approached the airline’s customer service for help, not only were they dismissive, but they also mishandled the information I provided. Even though I had clearly mentioned my flight details in my correspondence, they asked for them again, only to later inform me they couldn’t locate my glasses. Moreover, the flight itself was delayed by three hours, adding to the frustration. Given this experience, I strongly advise reconsidering before booking with Turkish Airlines
We missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt do to security and all hell ensued then.we got rebooked to Washington got there round 10 am ish didn't find out till 630 we were rerouted to United!! Then we started getting updates
Boarding arrangement at Frankfurt was terribly managed with no proper guidance and the flight was parked far away from the gate. In flight entertainment device (touch screen) was not working at all throughout the flight. And on top of all this two of the checked in bags were found to be missing when we landed at Chennai. All this mismanagement at a very high fare of about $2300 per ticket is unacceptable.
Movie selection was nice and chicken with rice dinner was good. I did not like the pizza thing they served for breakfast/lunch. It was like a hot pocket but mostly bread. A small sandwich or cheese and cracker snack and fruit etc would have been much better. Also they did not announce trash pick up so a lot of trash was left by everyone when departing.
Water in bottle and a piece of chocolate were given. We did have movies to watch.
No food, no entertainment, but that's normal for short-haul flight.
Hectic boarding process. I upgraded to business class which was no different than economy except for the food service. Totally not worth it.
Pretty poor across the board - flight details wrong/delayed into Lufthansa app. Seat changes made without notification. Boarding delayed (ok, that happens) but all comms in German (for flight to UK, where 85% of passengers were English). Outright fraud attempted at gate, denying 1 piece carry-on of smaller than correct size and 1 piece personal item, again, smaller than correct size. Rude gate staff. Security checks perfunctory - unattended bag not acknowledged by staff..then put on aircraft unclaimed by staff.
I’m not a happy customer. Lufthansa cancelled my flight 3 times, and I had to rebook a flight to Larnaca, but a flight to Tel Aviv and pay for a hotel. Then the flight back was cancelled and now I have to find my own way back. Terrible.
Absolutely inadequate transfer at Munich airport. Lufthansa sold a ticket for a flight with 45 mins transfer, and your connecting flight is actually in a different terminal. In order to get to that terminal you need to walk 10 mins to a train station, take a train, and then go through passport control. All this in less than 45 mins (deduct 20 mins for boarding)? Madness.
The flight was half an hour late, as happens these days always in Europe. Otherwise, fine. Friendly crew.
