Flight got cancelled for good (apparently due to jet fuel concerns), and we had to re-book to Hannover, Germany instead.
I'm very tall so the leg room of the seats could have been a little more spacious. Otherwise, everything was excellent
The prices and many to choose from: Very unfriendly unprofessional and difficult staff and lacked English skills. Had the pleasure to go to Istanbul in 2022 but went on Jordan Airlines and found Turkey a wonderful place with kind people. The experience as a first time flyer on Turkish Airlines was so disappointing that received not to go into Turkey was so upset about this cruel treatment
Light and recline did not work on my seat. Very uncomfortable and could not read in the dark

Our seat were changed from Turkish Airlenes without offering us a better choice.We paid for those seats even it was Businesses Class. .The seats we were given was next to cabin crew closet.Crew kept opening the closet while we were sleeping.It was very noisy and we also we’re right to next to kitchen.It was very noisy. We want our money back. Food was horrible when we were flying from Newark to Istanbul. It is a shame for Airline to waste so much money on tastless food.
There was a Turkish Airlines employee sat in 16A in the row in front of us. We understood that she was a Turkish Airlines employee from her interaction with the cabin crew and the fact that she boarded business but was sitting in economy with us. What annoyed us was the extremely loud conversation she had for the majority of the 12 hour flight with two men, one of which was leaning over the chair in front of her. This was annoying as they were so loud that my wife and I could still hear them despite wearing our noise cancelling earphones. No intervention was taken by the cabin crew. Secondly, she ordered some extra meals from the crew, which we believe to have come from business class, for her male friends. Seeing this in economy is very disheartening. Lastly, one of her male friends pulled out an e-cigarette and was only mildly reprimanded by the cabin crew. Overall, we consider this behaviour completely inappropriate of a Turkish Airlines employee. Next time we will book with Emirites, I don’t think that their employees would be allowed to behave in this manner.
I requested a special meal (kosher) several months ahead of the flight . It was listed on the Turkish air website that I had a kosher meal. In-flight, there was no kosher meal. I was not able to eat during the nearly 8-hour flight. There also was no kosher meal on the second leg of the trip. The flight attendants said there was nothing they could do. They had no idea why the kosher meal was not provided. Very bad meal service.
To the Ethiopian Airlines Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent travel experience with Ethiopian Airlines on flight 629/352. Unfortunately, the level of service provided fell significantly short of the standards I expected from your airline. I would like to highlight the following serious issues encountered during the journey: • Cabin Condition and Hygiene: The aircraft cabin was notably poorly maintained. The seating area was dirty, and there was a persistent, unpleasant odor throughout the flight, which made the environment very uncomfortable for passengers. • Inadequate Service: The overall level of service provided by the staff was unsatisfactory and did not reflect a professional passenger experience. • Baggage Loss: Upon arrival, I was informed that my luggage was lost. This is particularly distressing as it has caused significant personal inconvenience and disruption to my schedule. As a frequent traveler, I value reliability and a clean cabin environment. I request that you investigate these matters immediately, provide an update on the status of my missing baggage, and outline how you intend to compensate for these failures in service. Our first flight was delayed and when we got off that plane, nobody was really helping to direct us to the next gate. It was very frustrating. One staff simply said hurry, which wasn’t helpful. We had to go a long way to get to the next gate. Another issue on the plane itself was the bathrooms were disgusting and filthy and it didn’t seem like anybody was checking on them were cleaning them and it was a long flight. There was urine on the floor and they stunk. Also, the screen in front of my seat did not work, and I tried different headphones and still had no sound. You would think somehow those things are reviewed occasionally for working order.
Delays delays making us miss or next connection to IAD hence having to stay additional 24 hrs in Addis Ababa
Like: It arrived, Dislike: Boarding was a separate corridor with no counter announcements at the passenger waiting area. Very dirty airplane and toilets, food options were terrible - everything even the vegetarian option was a curry spice. Many other passengers using the toilets would not lock the door and kept door partially open during use - flight attendants would not enforce or direct them to lock it and light turns on, no entertainment options at all, other passengers would be singing and not peaceful. Atrocious flight experience.
Flight was delayed resulting in a series of unfortunate events. I ran the airport as people were yelling my flight anyone who can’t run wouldn’t have made it! Then the luggage is missing. Good company, execution needs fine tuning.
Business and economy lines were common for most of the journey including check in and security control in Addis Abbeba. Food choice was fine, however there was a hair in my rice
Seat in front of my wife was broken so it reclined further than normal and without having to push the recline button so my wife had absolutely no room the entire 17 hour flight. My seat was broken and wouldn't recline at all. Also.. my tray table was sticky and dirty right away before I even used it. Also...the floor in the back of the plane from our row of seats on back was totally soaked and both times we landed water came rushing out of the food/servant area like a flood onto the same already wet carpet. It got everything wet that was placed around our feet...including our shoes and socks.
Entertainment was very poor. Couldn’t watch anything. Ear pieces were the wrong type .
I've never been served three bread courses in a single meal before. Was really impressed by the novelty of that.
Was so glad the the captain kept the air. It’s usually suffocating in there.
The crew could deploy more customer focus and not frown when asked a question. I’m speaking of one lady in particular who raised a hand in my face for me to wait whe I tried to ask a question and never came back to me. Very unprofessional and rude.
They set someone on our assigned seats and we ended up finding seats for ourselves to ensure the family sits together.
Lufthansa crew both on the ground and in the sky were wonderful. I booked wheelchair service for all of our flights and it was handled perfectly. Kudos to all at Lufthansa.
Very efficient and excellent service. Nice amenities and beautiful plane. Elevated meals. Boarding could have been more organized. We missed our connecting flight due to EU entry but Lufthansa was extremely quick to rebook us.
Aircraft had fairly roomy seats on economy. Food was good (beef dinner).
Broken seat did not recline fully, broken footrest, no air vents, no electricity for charging devices, outlets for headphones or isb did not work. Rude crew. Horrible experience. Would never fly Lufthansa again

It was a very smooth and on time flight experience. The crew was really friendly and polite. We were well informed about the flight, etc.
Our Lufthansa flight MUC to IAD was cancelled 90 minutes after boarding requiring a night in Munich. Nightmare.
Flight was late incoming. Crew did a nice job trying to accelerate boarding. Flight was fine. My complaint is with the staff in the Lufthansa lounge in Paris. Clearly the desk attendant doesn’t like her job. Was rude and unhelpful. What’s the point?
