Made us gate check carry ons Then didn’t get them on the plane. Service they used didn’t deliver our carry ons for more than a day Total mess
They didn't give us Nothing to eat, come on..... 1 package of chips and a glass of soda won't do anything to the company
Crammed like sardines into the middle of the middle 4 seat row for an 11 hour flight was a terrible experience. No attempt made to help passengers sleep by dimming lights or shutting window shades. Small mediocre meals. Not enough good movies/TV options. Hopefully we will never have to do this again.
Flight was diverted from Firenze to Pisa causing delay and inconvenience.
Checked me out of my connecting flight despite having enough time to transfer, had to check in again at the gate. Then they lost my luggage.
The pilot was wonderful and enthusiastic and introduced himself over the intercom. We all felt in good hands. Crew were all super friendly and especially the young , gentleman crew member. Everything Swiss airlines represents. Hospitality, friendly and professional. Thank you. Truly a memorable short flight.
Swiss ground crew was again at its prime and although I’m United 1K (Star Alliance Gold) they created problems with my hand luggage - while other passengers were boarding with more handbags and larger hand luggages, were critical on my 2 young kids attending the lounge with me and boarding the plane with me on the priority lane.
We so appreciated that our connecting flight waited for 6 of us!!!
Crew took my carry on and checked it in; turned out to be a blessing; however the luggage was delayed at my final destination; receiving it 36 hours later. Thought, we'd get, at least water; but the Swiss chocolate was delicious. Thanks.
A lot of things could have been better. They lost our luggage. We missed our connection from YVR to Naples when we arrived in Zurich and then we got re-routed to Rome and then Naples. We eventually got to Naples but our bags didn’t. Our experience at the lost luggage in the Naples was not at all reassuring. They didn’t seem that interested in our problem. I did a live chat with Swiss customer service and all they could do is tell me to follow the process. Meanwhile we’ve had to spend significant money on clothes and I have to replace medications. This has meant our trip so far has been totally different than what we had planned. It’s not clear that our baggage will ever show up which means we will have lost significant amount of clothing and other things and our two month trip to Europe will have more problems than good memories. So far we are not happy.
Never made it to Lufthansa because of Air Canadas negligence.
Boarding and flight update was fantastic as I experienced about a 10-15 delayed for both flights. The food served onboard was great; the service of the flight attendants was excellent.
Complete mess. Our reservation was mistakenly cancelled. After almost missing the connection and walking all over the Munich airport, the Service desk got involved and we were run to our flight. Not all 4 of us in Business and not seated together as originally booked. This was the worst treatment I have ever had. And I travel a lot. 1K million miler.
The flight was about 10 minutes late which made it kind of tight for connection in Frankfurt. One think that was helpful for my husband and I since we don’t speak the language was when we got off the shuttle bus, two ground crew told us very clearly how to make the connection.
There is more space in this economy seat. It felt like a better layout, not so cramped.
The staff was not at pleasant as those on the first leg of our trip.
Flight from Munich to Geneva was delayed an hour without any notice. Finally called 5 minutes after their flight was supposed to leave only to be told it was late. Then after boarding- we were told to leave the plane go back to the terminal so they could make a repair. NO Communication whatsoever. Agent at the airport was rude and offensive. Finally got on the plane three hours after originally planned. Lost our car reservation in Geneva and had to pay $200 more to get the rental. HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE!!!!
Crew was excellent. Sat us together after the airline changed our seats. This was the smaller plane/shorter flight so no entertainment or food.
Boarding was one hour late. Gate notification was incorrect (notification said gate 17, actual was gate 14). Took shuttle bus to board the plane. Late arrival of plane at Turin impacted travel arrangements to the event.
The flight has been delayed and arrived 30 minutes late. I had a very tough connection in Frankfurt, I had to run to catch my flight to Newark and Lufthansa was absolutely not helpful. They just told me I have to hurry but didn't tell me where I should go , I was very disappointed
ITA has these new Airbus A330 Neo that hates economy class passengers. The seats have absolutely no cushion to a point where it hits your spine constantly and reminds you to fork out for premium economy or don’t travel next time. The food was absolutely horrible, ETA mentioned 3 meals for 12 hour flight but it was mostly 1 meal and 2 light snacks. I am vegetarian, so my 2’d food was 1 slice of tomato, 1 cucumber on a dry cold bun. The other 2 meals were disgusting. My young one threw up the entire time. Flight attendants were the cherry on top - plain bad. They would skip servicing drinks to some passengers completely and if you call for an attendant, they will come and stop the button on top without even asking you what you need. I would avoid ITA by all means - there are plenty of options including SAS for same routes with better seats and humane treatment.
Nice flight. Uneventful, very good crew, comfortable seats. Pleasant experience.
Stews were nice. Plane was very old. Some of the mechanics for travelers outdated. Not enough bathrooms. Hideous food.
Our flight was changed to a day we could not travel so we cancelled it. Will never use kayak again

ITA cancelled fligh rebooked with Lufthansa. Flight good, but 2hour connection in Frankfurt was HORRIBLE, took 1.9 hours to get through scanner, customs, another security, got to gate after running all the way, so caught it but stressful and terrible start to trip.
There wasn't a time for neither food morning entertainment in a short one hour hop over.
The boarding was delayed and they didn’t let us know why until after we sat on the plane (the plane was delayed getting in) but they had us waiting in line for over 1/2 hour for some reason which I didn’t understand.
Terrible service, uninterested employees, inefficient boarding process, and marginal set up on plane. Staff make the airline - good luck with this one.
Long delay, lack of space at the seats (not comfortable).
