It was a very smooth and on time flight experience. The crew was really friendly and polite. We were well informed about the flight, etc.

Water in bottle and a piece of chocolate were given. We did have movies to watch.

I liked the professional service that began with the information and continued with boarding and the service on board. I recommend you to use the late-night checkin the day before your flight. It made traveling so much better and more pleasant.

Forced gate checking of a soft sided rucksack while allowing hard sided cases on the plane when claiming there was limited room was a bit of a joke. The boarding was a free for all with business classes not getting priority and the food was pretty bland and cold (KLM can do a hot meal on shorter European flights). For a National carrier operating from a home base I expected better. Flight was delayed in both Berlin and Munich and due to the delays I missed my ground connection costing me another £80. Had my bag not been gate checked by a overzealous gate agent doing selective enforcement for non Germans then I would have easily made the connection even with the flight delays. Think I will avoid star alliance in the future and stick to sky team or one world.

What could have been better was holding the flight when our ORD to FRA flight was a bit late. We sat at FRA for 7 hours. It takes time to go through passport control and to get to a gate at that very large airport. We went as fast possible to our gate but were too late. Cityline is a good provider other wise.

The flight was about 10 minutes late which made it kind of tight for connection in Frankfurt. One think that was helpful for my husband and I since we don’t speak the language was when we got off the shuttle bus, two ground crew told us very clearly how to make the connection.

Flight from Munich to Geneva was delayed an hour without any notice. Finally called 5 minutes after their flight was supposed to leave only to be told it was late. Then after boarding- we were told to leave the plane go back to the terminal so they could make a repair. NO Communication whatsoever. Agent at the airport was rude and offensive. Finally got on the plane three hours after originally planned. Lost our car reservation in Geneva and had to pay $200 more to get the rental. HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE!!!!

The flight has been delayed and arrived 30 minutes late. I had a very tough connection in Frankfurt, I had to run to catch my flight to Newark and Lufthansa was absolutely not helpful. They just told me I have to hurry but didn't tell me where I should go , I was very disappointed
