I’ve never heard of discover airlines but will definitely be on the lookout for future flights. Everything about the trip was perfect. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The only critique; there was a delay and gate change and this fact was NOT well published! My eTicket was NEVER updated with the new flight details. We ran the whole way from our connecting flight only to find that our flight was delayed. Very frustrating. Additionally, there was NO announcement regarding the root cause of the delay. The uncertainty about the cause of the delay contributes to the overall frustration. One other small matter onboard; one of the toilets was unavailable (or perhaps malfunctioning) and NO explanation was given nor was any workaround explained. It would have been less frustrating if they announced why the toilet was lock and explained the alternatives in detail. That way the foot traffic congestion could have been minimized.
Basically a low cost airline, with very small seats, mediocre food and staff not particularly nice. Not a pleasant flight
Plane was old and small. Crew was not very friendly and didn’t check in much or offer water more than 2 times over a 8 hour flight.
We were on a full-service fare as part of a long-haul trip so it was disappointing to be on such a no-frills flight (no meals/hot drinks/entertainment) especially for a 3.5hr flight, at the start of a long trip. The crew however we’re lovely & friendly.
The flight was canceled. I couldn't get on another flight. Meal voucher wouldn't work. The whole experience was a clusterfuck.
Food was not great. Small seating area for business class
United was excellent. We had very good experience flying the carrier. Certainly. We will opt to fly them for sure. Lufthansa is out.
There was a little turbulence taking off and landing but mostly it was too late for me to make my connecting flight to Greensboro. Everything else was excellent.
The seats were very nice in premium economy. The service was good. The flight was slightly bumpy. Would have appreciated more updates from the pilots.
I missed my flight and had to buy new tickets Rome- Boston

The economy seat was much less comfortable for an international flight in terms of recline and moving space when food tray is expanded. Per entertainment, it would be amazing if I could connect my Bluetooth headset or ear phones to the entertainment screen. Or provide in-flight wifi to connect directly from my own device.
Horrible, absolutely horrible. The airline overbooked the flight, did NOT assign seats and boarding was a hot mess with lots of confused passengers. There was no "large plane" gate for us, the 500+ passengers were squeezed in a small hold room area, and multiple busses had to shuttle us to the other side of the airfield, where boarding of the plane, that was parked on the ramp, took place in rain. The old plane had a broken seat, that the technicians tried to fix - with no success - resulting in a 50min delay. The flight attendant with heart shaped earnings with German flag was screaming on the passengers without a reason, was extremely rude and entitled the entire flight. The food was junk. I hope I don't have to fly United ever again.
The clerk at check in for my bags was very rude. My credit card was hacked during my vacation and she told me it was not possible to pay in cash for my bag. “You bought the cheapest ticket, you should have bought a ticket that included a bag. If you cannot pay with a credit card, we will not let you on this flight”. She spoke to her supervisor and then told me , I could ask other passengers, if they would use their credit card to check my bag. I had to beg 5 different people, till one agreed to use their credit card. I payed them cash of course. This was a very stressful and humiliating experience for me. I strongly suggest you build in some kind of provision for travelers who got robbed.
Food horrible, even because there was no food the personal was rude and show off and the landing and take off ,was an adventure.
Everything was done like clockwork and I find no fault with the airline.
This flight 1810 on 7/30 from EWR to DFW got 4 hours delay. this round trip experience is bad, my AA flight 618 from DFW to EWR on 7/28 was redirected to PIT and totally delayed about 9 hours due to mixed of weather and AA IT outage and then on the way back delayed for 4 hours. Lucky, i changed my flight to UA on the way back. i don't like AA anymore. i will consider other airline options in the future.
Old plane. Dirty. Not many things worked. Service was poor.
Bad experience going to DFW with an IT outage then bad on the way back with a nearly 5 hour delay that’s started as maintenance then caused us to wait further due to weather - which would not have happened if we had left on time.
IT issues created a mess had you change my flight and your system never changed it
I was stuck in Miami for 24 hours! I waited in a line for 3 hours just for a hotel still at the airport. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had.
Horrible experience flying with American. Flight was delayed due to inbound flight delay. Fine, it happens. Then, we were delayed an additional almost 30 minutes due to the paperwork for departure having a "clerical error." Then, upon landing at the destination airport we were stuck on the plane for an HOUR after we landed and pulled up to the gate because apparently there was another plane. An hour waiting for the gate 12:30 AM when the flight has already been delayed due to operational error feels like a complete failure of the ability to do the one thing they need to do apart from actually have the plane takeoff and land. Very disappointing.
It was a 3 hour flight from Dallas to Missoula. The aircraft did not have power plugs, internet or in-flight entertainment. When boarding, one flight attendant was "somewhere in the airport" so delayed the boarding process (not coming from another flight) although we did take off on time and landed early. In flight there was little to no service - we got the standard beverage but no real connection with the crew which feels unusual for a 3 hour flight. A passenger needed help stowing her bag and got no assistance, and actually some passive aggressive comments from the flight attendants about "she needs to remove the extender" and "she'll have to find a place for it". I have seen others be helpful and put a bag in the closet, or support assistance as the boarding door was already closed. Just not a great experience considering the cost of my round trip ticket {$1000}.
The new seating in BC was a joy. My vegetarian pasta dish was excellent, very creative. The chicken potpie was ..... The crew was extremely focused and impersonal, but everything worked.
Very comfortable plane. The food was very good (for airplane food). The crew was great
I liked the flight, the attendants, and the comfort. But the gate for boarding was poor. Even the elderly had to climb down many many steps to the bus and climb up to the plane.
Cancelled 90 min AFTER Departure! We had to deplane and wait another hour plus for the flight to be shown as cancelled for the customer service team. There were many many angry customers.
Good and they are leaving at time and arriving on time
Horrible airport ever. We stood in the security check line for more than an hour. It was past boarding time and we were still waiting in line for the security check. With 2 children and a medically ill person we had a very stressful transit.
Flight cancelled. I was rebooked without discussion or options. Had booked a flight with a bed and when I was rebooked, the flight had a recliner seat. Felt cheated.
We missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt do to security and all hell ensued then.we got rebooked to Washington got there round 10 am ish didn't find out till 630 we were rerouted to United!! Then we started getting updates
Movie selection was nice and chicken with rice dinner was good. I did not like the pizza thing they served for breakfast/lunch. It was like a hot pocket but mostly bread. A small sandwich or cheese and cracker snack and fruit etc would have been much better. Also they did not announce trash pick up so a lot of trash was left by everyone when departing.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!
Paid $35 for wifi but wifi didn’t work. Stressful dealing with work mess and no service. Otherwise normal
Horrible as a connecting passenger. The airport experience is horrendous in Madrid. Once on the flight everything was fine. Stop selling connecting flights through Madrid with less than 2 hrs transit time!!
Not good because in this cancelled and then rebooked flight BA put me and my husband in both middle seats when we were originally seated together in original flight and i was in aisle. I hate sitting in the middle. BA food needs to be better. It was just ok. Thanks though to screw and everyone one for safe flight

Would like to see clean bathrooms, especially the bathroom by the end of the crew flight the cleanest not the bestest thank you
Wonderful. It seemed so quick and the view of Mt Hood was really good.
Crew members were thorough in checking seatbelts and whatnot which makes me feel cared for because passenger safety is a main concern.
I was sent an email that said my card payment was not verified. When I spoke to an agent , he said my card was not verified and the flight I thought I had to booked was no longer available so I booked another flight on another airline(United). Later I got flight updates , etc., concerning my supposed first flight. So if I was charged for this flight on British Airways/American airlines, I need a refund.
The crew made it a great flight. They were friendly and attentive. They made me want to fly British Airways again.
They ran out of headphones so my 3rd daughter couldn’t use the onboard TV the entire flight. They also rain out of food, so my 1st daughter didn’t get to choose her entrees or snack (chicken or cheese) because by the time they got to the last row they only had chicken left. Luckily she is not a vegetarian.
Spending 10 hours on a flight with no video or wifi access due to issues per stewardess was not enjoyable nor acceptable. Will follow up directly with the airline as well
