We boarded late and it snowballed from there. Had to wait behind 6 other flights to take off before us. Then, arriving late to our destination, we had to circle in the air for 20 minutes. If that's not enough, the seats are very cramped on their iteration if the A321neo. I'm 6"3' tall and my knees were pressed against the seat in front of me. These are not the slimline seats that offer less cushion with more leg room. I had no room to move my legs. Since I am an adult male, I also had no shoulder room. I sat on an aisle seat to have some space to lean my should out. But the walkway seemed to be more narrow than I am used to see. I felt bad for the middle passenger because there was just no where for me to put my shoulders except into the middle seat person. I don't plan to fly in this airline again in this configuration. Pack everyone in and lose my business.
The flight was uneventful and the crew was kind and professional. Really appreciate the option to order a vegan meal for the flight!
They need to improve on how the plane lands cause it was not smooth at all.

Very routh cabin crew food is only 2 meals for 13 hours fry with them They should get better training how to service good super routh language and talking with customer

Flight was delay almost 2 hours from Hong Kong to Taipei. Last minute gate change from 24 to 66. Long way walk. We need to run in the Taipei airport to catch our next flight from Taipei to Vancouver. That is so suck!
For a long-haul flight, the crew did a very good job of keeping the lavatories clean and the aisles clear.
My BIG complaint was that my second flight was also delayed. That's very aggravating after traveling for 18 hours already.
I was expecting to fly in a Japanese airline because that what I bought, very disappointed finding out the change of airline without any explanation.

Excellent. There were setbacks, but it had nothing to do with the crew. Mostly, mechanical which delayed our flight.
Awful. They cancelled my flight from Osaka to Tokyo and did not communicate this with United so my flight was never rescheduled. I had to call United myself who, after being on hold with them for an entire hour, did not believe that my flight had been canceled because ANA never reported this. ANA themselves refused to rebook my flight. United then said they would only rebook my flight for $600. After three hours of calling I was able to rebook my flight. My total trip was delayed 7 hours.
Flights got canceled due to weather and rebooked; however, were rebooked for the latest times and I was unable to move anything up.
Overall great. For improvement: early online check-in with seat choice.
The food was really good and healthy. Hopefully, next time final confirmation before the flight is earlier with complete information such as the Seat and Terminal Numbers.
It was so disappointed trip by unexpected company's fault delay. It had taken 3 hours delay for mechanical maintenance plus another 3 hours for bad weather.
SEA HND sector internet only worked for the last 2.5hrs of flight….. never had this kind of incident with other airlines
12 of the 14 hours were in the dark, all during daylight. Didn’t use my light because it disturbed other people it was illuminating. 14 hours sitting upright in a cramped space was horrible.
In between two meals period they're not providing something like banana / cup noodles or bugger. It's really fell sad that I was asking have to wait for 3 hours for second meal. (breakfast)

This review is based on other Asian airlines I used in the past year. Food going to Malaysia was bland and unappealing. Food coming from Malaysia back to the US was much, much better - tastier. Economy seats were not as spacious as the Airbus planes. Coming back from HKG, we were on a new Boeing plane and seats were very narrow, hard and extremely uncomfortable despite the fact we sat in the exit row. No offers for water in between meals though available in the galley. No garbage pickup. Movies were limited. All in all, flying Cathay seemed like flying a budget airline. Crew was pleasant and accommodating.
Nice staff, only one of the food services had a vegetarian option. Premium Economy was good - big seats and footrest. A little slow bringing welcome drink and often didn’t have the prosecco left on the tray - as though they are discouraging choosing that option. My only complaint is the wine/drinks served in a paper cup - I ordered a cognac on our previous flight and it came in the bottom of a paper cup, wine is poured into the cup like it’s a bucket!
Few vegetarian food options. Incorporating one per meal service would be best and captures a wider audience than just vegetarians (individuals with religious meat restrictions can also eat vegetarian).
My flight was suppose to be at 7:45pm to fly but it didnt fly out until 8:55 to dallas so then all of my other flights was late and delay ihad to wait at the airport for extra 14 hours to be able to get on a different plane

Boarding at the airport was not well managed. Otherwise, had a good flight sitting in the first row (which I paid for). Crew was pretty friendly, and flight was smooth.
Would have liked working outlets on the flight. The first meal was very bleh, the second meal was a lot better so overall okay meals
This wasn't even a Cathay flight, it was Lufthansa and I didn't earn any asia miles
I bought premium economy tickets with a fully flexible fare, and made seats selection for me and my son: window and aisle. After checking in online, Lufthansa cancelled the seat assignment without informing me. As a result, my son and I were assigned mid-center row seats, in different rows. This ruined the trip.
That was the last time I booked Kayak. The connecting flight got canceled and the trouble shooting terrible. Next times, I will book the airlines directly. Good bye
I want to highlight the crew members and their excellent work and professionalism. They work hard to make a long trip the most comfortable as possible, the food and drinks they offer are pretty good. And they are always asking if you need something else. I have had experiences with other airlines where you have to basically beg for a bottle of water. This is not the case. Highly recommended!!!
Way too crampled. Charge more and put in less seats.
I was first assigned a seat that could not recline fully and was at the back of the craft. I was not able to select another seat during check-in even when opting to pay for selecting a different seat. I had to contact the airline and spent 25min with a chatbot and was then transferred to an agent who was very helpful and could change my seat (free of charge). The entire process took me one hour. If I happened to not have that hour available this would have been a problem. And that was only to check in. The next problem is that the airport lounge I had access to is located landside. How strange. So it means that you need to allow time for security check and passport control and boarding time when leaving the lounge, which makes it almost pointless having lounge access unless you have a very long layover or arrive 5 hours before the flight. Inflight service was okay. But not up to par with the likes of QA, SQ or CX, even though the price is the same or even more. It was much better than the domestic flight where Lufthansa is actually a low-cost airline with legacy airline prices.

This was the worst flight of my life. Economy seat directly behind a premium economy seat with extra recline meant I have about 6 inches between my face and their chair. My seat would not recline at all. I couldn't even use my laptop on the tray table because I had so little room. I was in a casket basically for 10 hours. Completely unacceptable.
We flew first class - the screens are outdated and very small. Even on highest brightness level is was hard to recognize anything. Food was on average, nothing special. Champagne served was the same other airlines serving in Business Class.
