Last few years I didn't not have great experience with United Airlines.
We were delayed three hours from Montenegro to Vienna on our outbound flight and then rebooked an extra leg on our trip to the US. Our bags, which Austrian made us check in in Montenegro even though the flight was barely half full, didn't find us for ten days. Then, when we asked for compensation for the delay we were given the runaround that the flight originated outside of the EU. Next time we fly Turkish Air.
Most of the crew members were rude, flight arrived late and we missed our connecting flight, they damaged my friends suitcase so badly that two wheels had been destroyed.
Great! They got my vegetarian meal right, flight was comfortable, they helped store my heavy luggage. Pleasant crew and flight staff.
I did wish they would give us the entire little bottle Bailey's instead of just have 1/2 bottle at a time
We have travelled on 13 December with Austrian Airlines from Yangon through Bangkok and Vienna to Varna. The first flight operated by Thai Airlines was nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the same thing about the next two flights which were operated directly by the Austrian Airlines. During our flight from Bangkok to Vienna: > The service was very poor – serving of food and drinks was disorganized, late and not combined, the stewards were walking back and forth without doing anything substantial for the passengers. Even the morning breakfast was very late with a cup of coffee almost while landing (after a reminding). > The food itself was OK-ish but for a 12-hour flight, there were no snacks/bites in between dinner and breakfast as it is with the other airlines. > The cutlery was wooden, most probably recycling, but very unpleasant to eat with. > The stewards were not rude but not friendly and/or helpful > And also, half of the passengers had travel sets, others did not. The flight from Vienna to Varna was another surprise: firstly, the flight was late and secondly, they were serving only water free, even the coffee was paid, so were the snacks, but we had to pay to reserve seats. The whole experience is as if it was a low-cost airline. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend using the services of Austrian Airlines: the ticket prizes are quite the same as of the other carriers flying to this destination and you would have much pleasant time.
I paid for carry-on bag, but they did not let me take it on board, persuaded to check it in because the flight was full. I agreed to help them out, and they mixed up tag numbers and my bag got lost. I had very valuable things in there, and my whole vacation experience was ruined. I even asked the boarding assistant why the tag number was different from the assigned one, but they assured me it was alright and the bag will arrive to my destination. Nothing arrived of course. Incompetence of boarding assistants cost me the loss of all my things.
There was not enough sparkling water and beer during the flight. Coffee was not hot
I bought the ticket a month before my flight but checked in couple hours before my flight and had to wait seat assignment just before take off. On top of that there was not enough room in the overhead bin for my luggage.
Austrian business has no access to lounge Boarding is chaotic , mad scramble Business is just an economy seat in front Crew was very nice, attendants very friendly Bus to gate afterwards
My information was stolen, and someone used my card to purchase airline tickets. Everything has been submitted to my bank, and the police. Thank you!!
Stuck on a plane for 6 hours due to a technical or mechanical issue.
Boarding was delayed for an unknown reason for more than an hour. While the airplane was at the gate, the boarding time was moved by 10-20 minutes every 15 minutes. No entertainment on the plane.
Delay rushed to the next plane and bags didn’t arrive in chicago
Bags lost no more to say, bad communication and no urgency to get it back to the hotel by the airline properly the worst airline I have used.
I would like to be able to choose the seat before the flight without paying extra money. Family members should not to be separated from each other.

They broke my luggage. I’m pissed off about that. Service was slow and inconsistent.
The flight was delayed by an hour which caused me to lose my car rental in Vilnius
I didn’t use Entertainment so, no comments on it. Staff was courteous, efficient and helpful. Wines (I also tried Polish White wine) were really good, so also the food. The accessories provided were good (a goodnight chocolate would have enriched the experience 😀) Originally flight reached before time but we didn’t understand why it was sidelined for almost half an hour and also, luggage was delivered quite late (20-25 minutes) and that too after changing belt! That need not be LOT’s fault! Overall, I would certainly like to travel again with LOT, worth recommending!
Cancelled - booked on train; and then flights started running! I spent 5 hours with 2 changes on train while flights started and is 50 min
Lufthansa has a bag policy unique to Lufthansa. We all had a small carry on and a backpack (personal item) that we carried with us through multiple other connecting flights, no problem. With Lufthansa we were charged 80 euros each for the carry on at the gate, for this one flight. When asked they said they made an announcement… problem being that we had just arrived to the gate from a connecting flight and didn’t hear an announcement. While we were standing at the counter paying the ridiculous fee several other people were stopped, while countless others boarded with the same type of luggage and were not stopped. Crazy. Good news though, when we got on the plane half of the overhead bins were empty! After an already horrible experience the lady at the counter was also terrible, so that helped round things out.
We missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt do to security and all hell ensued then.we got rebooked to Washington got there round 10 am ish didn't find out till 630 we were rerouted to United!! Then we started getting updates
Boarding arrangement at Frankfurt was terribly managed with no proper guidance and the flight was parked far away from the gate. In flight entertainment device (touch screen) was not working at all throughout the flight. And on top of all this two of the checked in bags were found to be missing when we landed at Chennai. All this mismanagement at a very high fare of about $2300 per ticket is unacceptable.
Water in bottle and a piece of chocolate were given. We did have movies to watch.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!
Good but I don’t received my bags yet is been 5days still no update
The food on this flight was better than what we had getting to Rome. The flight was comfortable and the staff was great. One of the staff members was a stickler about the blankets in the aisle, which I get, but still. Overall, great flight and will fly with them again!
The crew were excellent, smiling and kind. The seats were good for economy though my seat back got a bit sticky from getting out of the reclining position. The food was good for a Kosher meal, better than usual. Entertainment was okay, but there was no Wi-fi available the entire flight. Overall the flight was fine for an overnight flight. The flight attendant in my section was absolutely delightful.
Fortunately the departure was delayed as I had a tight connection and the incoming flight was delayed. The departure delay helped me to make my connection. Thankfully, my luggage also could be transferred in the same time. The aircraft had to be changed and the power outlet in my seat didn’t work. Again luckily as the flight was not full, I could move to a different seat where the power outlet was working.
Entertainment is nonexistent. Food might have been good, however due to language barriers I didn’t get to have any food. Flat bed seats and layout was excellent. Crew efficient and straightforward, but lacking any western style approach. Not that I’d expect anything else, but one could have hoped.
Flight took very long to even get checked in for, everything was late and written out by hand. My luggage was lost for several days and it was the most unorganized flight experience of my life.

This was my connection flight that was moved time ahead for a almost entire day so I lost it and I had to purchase new ticket once I landed in Copenhagen since nobody wanted to take responsibility for moving flight in that way so it’s impossible to make it. Very poor job by Underpricer, Air Serbia and SAS.
I purchased an exit row seat and priority boarding, about 3 months in advance. Without any communication whatsoever, my seat was moved to row 2, when I checked my reservation 2-3 days before departure. As no exit row seats were available anymore, I selected a seat 1C. However, once at the airport, I was issued maybe the worst possible seat, 29E, middle seat, one row before the last. It is not worth my time to request the refund on the ancillary purchase, I am simply done flying with Air Serbia. Also there was no boarding process to speak of at all, or online check in.
Lacking online check in, had to wait an hour in order to check in on the counter even without language.
This flight was better, plane was newer and didn’t have broken parts. Flight crew was very attentive and friendly.
Omg my flight was delayed from 4pm to 9:45 pm with no explanation- that is ridiculous
The airline took our money and did nothing to refund our covid travel funds.
They would not refund our money despite the COVID lockdown by both governments which would not allow us to fly (and subsequently went into bankruptcy).
Pros: "Flight got cancelled due to COVID-19 and voucher issued, good for one year only then airline went bankrupt and no refund or compensation given"
Cons: "An airline that stays in business and gives travel vouchers that don't expire in one year"
