Really impressed with the Airline and much with the Crew. The crew was amazingggg, changed seats very easily, provided a lot of snacks on demand, the plane is nice and clean, the menu is well presented; unfortunately, the food is not fantastic, but it's not bad either but nothing to rave about. I am still rating it as excellent because I loved everything else; food improvement will be great!
My flight was delayed by 8 hours I arrived at airport 4hrs earlier but to see if they can reroute me to get my connecting flt to Hong Kong. They auto rebooked my flt. With no chance. Which I missed this entire reservation through kayak. My next flt they got me on was at 6 am. Misses an entire day of my trip abroad all my accommodations seat assignments were missed and missed adding my TSA precheck to my ticket as well as my vegan meal request so I didnt have meals on any of the flight....so not a comfortable experience. Please help me with accommodations upon my return.
I was very upset with Underpricer, Cathay Pacific and Kayak! After spending numerous hours on phone and texting on WhatsApp to get seating secured for myself and my Sister only to find out hours before my flight that our seats had been canceled and we wound up in the last row in back of the plane adjacent to toilet! Airline claims travel agent canceled out seats!?!? Out tickets were purchased in April.
I upgraded my flight to business and before boarding they told me they will not have food on the flight unless someone declines the food service.
The plane was dirty, the seats were torn and broken, the service was the most terrible ever, the bathroom dirty, they will not even serve water you had to request it, the meals were terrible, overall less than Zero, I will never fly Cathay Pacific again.
Nice staff, only one of the food services had a vegetarian option. Premium Economy was good - big seats and footrest. A little slow bringing welcome drink and often didn’t have the prosecco left on the tray - as though they are discouraging choosing that option. My only complaint is the wine/drinks served in a paper cup - I ordered a cognac on our previous flight and it came in the bottom of a paper cup, wine is poured into the cup like it’s a bucket!
Flight was delayed due to air traffic control and technical issues - power outage happened several time during taxiing in Taipei causing further delay for urgent technical check.
Cathay has always been great. Even allowed some leniency on my baggage weight. I believe they are also on the more leg room side of airlines.
Was not able to board flight because boarding pass name did not match passport name and no one caught it.
This wasn't even a Cathay flight, it was Lufthansa and I didn't earn any asia miles
Very friendly and attentive flight attendants, good food service. Seat was comfortable. However, the in flight electronics were poor. The screen froze repeatedly; the controller died; the headphones are a hit or miss; the wifi wasn't usable. Very scarce communication before the flight (no email reminder). Almost impossible to understand in-flight communications (audio was very poor).
On time. Friendly and helpful flight attendants. The plane was clean. Having a wine available would have been nice.
Your staff was exceptional. Could teach the other airlines-rules on etiquette, and service. Excellent landings on flights, carried out by your pilots. Only complaint is long delay on return flight in Beijing, onto Vancouver.
Worst than I expected, crew was not attentive, meal was as disgusting , they didn’t even drink selections as they would to other passengers. I felt discriminated

It's terrible that we can't do online check in because we didn't buy the tickets directly from Air china. It was not explained until I contacted Chatdeal and we could not sit together.
Everything was not satisfactory - the flight was delayed, staffs were ok but they didn't speak English well. I am from east Asia (not Chinese) and they didn't care enough to remember that I wasn't Chinese but persistently spoke chinese to me. The flight announcement in english wasn't clear to understand.
It was simply bad and on top of that my luggage hasn't been delivered until now. They can't even localize it which is just unacceptable when they are supposed to scan the bar code they put when we check in
We bought premium Economy, thinking it would be more comfortable, but the seat is so narrow ,that my legs and feet are swollen , I can't wear shoes !
I booked tickets for a family of five and specifically paid extra to select our seats together. We spent nearly $1,000 extra (around $100 per seat) for extra legroom so we could sit near each other. However, despite paying for this, we ended up being separated on the flight. This caused a major issue for our family because my parents do not speak English and rely on me to translate and assist them during the journey. I do not understand why Etihad changed our reserved seats without explanation. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience. I expect the airline to do better, and I am requesting a full refund for the seat selection fees we paid.
Good service. But on flight to Kochi no entertainment except in app. And no working outlets to charge phone.
It was fantastic. The flight from Chicago to Abu Dahbi was fantastic. The crew, food and service were amazing. Everything was handled by the crew member assigned to us , Nicholas, was usually done before we asked for it. Highly recommend Etihad!
It was worst flight ever of 26h. Poor service and seating. Flight from Abu Dhabi to Islamabad service and seating was worst ever. No tv extra.
Etihad seems to have a very strict luggage enforcement. I am a very light passenger compared to other passengers which are mainly heavier. I do not understood why airlines enforce the weight restriction so strictly. I was overweight luggage of 1.5kg, but am probably 10+kg lighter than the average passenger. Other airlines are far more accommodating. Poor customer service as far as I am concerned. If weight is such an important issue to an airline they should charge passengers by total amount of body weight plus luggage. To me just ridiculous.
Boarding was efficient, had to check in cabin luggage. Seats were narrow, food was more in quantity, received cabin luggage on the luggage belt which was fine.
Good. The food was very bad. Except for the chicken rice, rest of the dish went to trash.
Ripped off and broken seats in Business class. Seats stink and need to request the staff for additional bedsheets. Crew if very friendly though
Entertaiment center needed on that flight. I dont like to use my phone for entertainment.
It feels like the seat did not have any cushion just plywood. The seats are so compact that I could not even move at all and I am slim. Just imagine someone else. Singapore Air and Emirates are far far better than this. Do not even travel for free. For a 12 hour flight sitting on a plywood is horrible experience and on top of that the person at checking counter at NY was worst and rude. Plus they charge arms and leg for everything. I think they would also start charging for belts and oxygen also soon. First and last time flying with Ethiad.
While boarding at PVG, there was a ticket checking at the gate, then there was another ticket checking at the bottom of the escalator, which created quite a dangerous congestion. Not sure which idiot made this absolutely unnecessary arrangement.
I was traveling alone with an infant, so the crew was incredibly helpful. Both the international and subsequent domestic flights were impeccable.

Small plane with only two lavatories at the back. You must have a good plan to use it before or after the meal, if you make a bad decision, you will end up with standing in front of the toilet for a while till the food carts empty. The good thing is even there’s a slightly delayed, the plane is still arriving on time which is superb!!
Reasonable. What they offer during the flight is not great, but the crew is polite and try to compensate it.
I was surprised and appreciate that they actually served a hot meal on such a short, early morning flight. The check in and boarding was hassle free and most of all my Alliance Status / Code Share was recognized and the revelant courtesy was extended; other than some needed attention to detail concerning the cleanliness of the cabin, and some unnecessary aggressive wording their safety briefing, it was an overall pleasant flight, and I would certainly fly with them again.
Lost Baggage - very frustrated…learned that bag was never put on plane.
I think it’s time that somebody set a standard for the temperature in the cabins. I would rather it be colder than anybody that wants to have a blanket have a blanket to keep it so warm at times is unbearable and quite uncomfortable. That’s the only thing I would add.
Gatwick London-Shanghai -Bangkok.. Would have liked entertainment screens, but I know these planes are not that new. Cheap flights at the time of booking, Emirates wanted double so you get what you paid for. I would fly again with them, but if Emirates was the same price I would go with them.
It was my birthday while I was on the flight on China eastern airlines. They celebrated my day by giving me a personalized birthday card and also a very delicious pastry. I was surprised and thankful by the China Eastern crew! The whole staff was kind and professional? My second flight into China and the most memorable! Thank you-
There was no entertainment or food service (short flight). The flight was delayed more than an hour.
Horrible airport ever. We stood in the security check line for more than an hour. It was past boarding time and we were still waiting in line for the security check. With 2 children and a medically ill person we had a very stressful transit.
Cancelled - booked on train; and then flights started running! I spent 5 hours with 2 changes on train while flights started and is 50 min
Lufthansa has a bag policy unique to Lufthansa. We all had a small carry on and a backpack (personal item) that we carried with us through multiple other connecting flights, no problem. With Lufthansa we were charged 80 euros each for the carry on at the gate, for this one flight. When asked they said they made an announcement… problem being that we had just arrived to the gate from a connecting flight and didn’t hear an announcement. While we were standing at the counter paying the ridiculous fee several other people were stopped, while countless others boarded with the same type of luggage and were not stopped. Crazy. Good news though, when we got on the plane half of the overhead bins were empty! After an already horrible experience the lady at the counter was also terrible, so that helped round things out.
We missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt do to security and all hell ensued then.we got rebooked to Washington got there round 10 am ish didn't find out till 630 we were rerouted to United!! Then we started getting updates
Boarding arrangement at Frankfurt was terribly managed with no proper guidance and the flight was parked far away from the gate. In flight entertainment device (touch screen) was not working at all throughout the flight. And on top of all this two of the checked in bags were found to be missing when we landed at Chennai. All this mismanagement at a very high fare of about $2300 per ticket is unacceptable.
Water in bottle and a piece of chocolate were given. We did have movies to watch.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!

Flew on a relatively old Airbus A340. Must have been one of the tightest economy seats I've ever experienced in a 2-4-2 setup. Seat doesn't recline much, and you're basically sitting up-right for the entire 11+ hours. Meal service was curt. The hot/warm dish was half squished causing some of the contents to squeeze out and make a mess when it was tossed onto the tray. TV screen is small for this day and age, and the USB didn't work to charge anything either. However there are lots of movies and tv shows, so that was good.
