I’m an Iberia fan but this time They dropped the ball. I went from ALC to MAD to LHR. Boarding in ALC was by group… to get you in a bus. Then we sat for almost an hour when most people had connections. When we landed in Madrid we did so and they put us in another bus almost like if they wanted to make people lose their connection. We made ours by the skin of our teeth but our luggage did not. And on top of this we had to listen to the pilot bragging about Iberia being punctual. To be true we made it on time to LHR but we are Still waiting for our luggage
It’s got the tightest seats of any airline - my knees were smashed for 3 hours - absolutely awful.
Bad experience. The seat room are very tight. The food is not good and the breakfast has no hot drink.
The crew were not very personable. The crew did not serve tea or coffee. The bathroom was not kept clean. Two out of the 5 toilets in the cabin weren't working.
1. The flight was late and I did jot get the seat I paid for. I paid for extra leg room and a window seat. I got a middle seat without extra leg room. 2. The customer service representative was not helpful. Explanation: many passengers arrived to the service desk in Madrid near baggage claim to rebook our flights. (We all missed our connecting flight due to delays in JFK). Upon arrival, ghere was one service agent and one line-business. After about 25-30 minutes the agent left and we could see her making a phone call. After about 5 more minutes, 2 other agents arrived. During our wait, another line formed for main cabin customers. We were told to go to the other line, even after waiting around 30-40 minutes. This would have been disastrous for ghose of us who had been waiting for so long. The agents need more training.
A friendlier and more helpful crew would have been much better.
Passengers were taken to the aircraft by bus. But they kept people standing back to back in the small no AC, no restrooms, no chairs area for 30 minutes waiting for the shuttle bus. No information was provided to the passengers, no help or service was offered during this incident
Yeah you have time and can sit around for a while to be okay for you but if you planned on getting connected flights I recommend not to fly with this Airline it's best they for flying out of the country
it would good to have at least something to drink...
This trip was a total nightmare, got to the airport in Wed March 8th after confirming all flights, only to be told by American Airlines that we are not confirmed on the flight. We met a pretty rude and unhelpful AA check in agent by the name of Ali. American said it was not their problem, contact Kayak/Chatdeal and sort out your issue.Chatdeal said all flights were confirmed and it is the airlines fault. So it went, we were kicked between American, Kayak and Iberia spending hrs on the phone- all said it is not their fault.Spent 9 hrs in the airport on Wed 15th trying to sort out. Luckily, we met a really nice AA agent Shawnna G who went way beyond the call of.duty to help us out. We were put the next day on Thurs 16th from DfW to San Paulo Brazil the onto Madrid!! Imagine that..10000 miles and 20hrs of travelling to get to Madrid from Dallas!! Our trip took 3 days to get there ..Wed 8th Thurs 9th and Fri 10th.Got there on Sat 11th, so lost 2 days of our vacation and a lot of emotional and physical stress on our 2 kids travelling with us.
