Changed to older plane with old set-up in Business class.
PLEASE GIVRE US PERMISSION TO BOOK SEAT NUMBER EVEN WITH FEES
Definitely not a fan of Turkish Airlines, their seats are very uncomfortable. Felt very cramped up. Food was very poor in quality too, very little to drink during service.
Amazing, great airlines to go in business class. Hospitality is amazing. Food is great and lounge in Istanbul is at another level.
On this route the plane was also late and I almost missed a connecting flight to Tashkent. Moreover, my bag did not arrive with the same plane and only on the next flight from Istanbul. I was supposed to travel further from Tashkent to Astana and Saudi Arabia and if I didn't collect my bag in Tashkent I would have missed the next flights because I couldn't travel without my bag and all valuables inside it.
The seat did not recline and we called the stewardess, he forced it to recline, but when we landed, it did not come forward because the seat was broken. The stewardess came, He tried to do it but couldn't do it, the flight commander came and spoke to us in a bad tone, telling us to get out of here, she waited at the head and acted as if there was a child and we couldn't get up, it was very shameful, I don't even know if it's true, but she said if you don't get up, the plane will not land and will keep turning around. Then a passenger pushed the seat from behind and it worked. Then we wanted to talk to the supervisor again, but she did not come next to us. We fly so much and this is the first time we encountered such a style.

Service for wheelchair person is very poor. No display at exit door from Delhi to Istanbul airport, so you cannot decide where to go, and the helper for wheelchair person asked $10.00 american money, when I said you should not charge or I asked him to take indian money. He said he needs only American dollars and bring me back and dropped me at the same exit door helplessly. I felt bad very much but was helpless. And ranaway. I was to take his picture to post it on the website. So many passengers were waiting for the help, ultimately one buggy came and helped the passengers and the driver did not ask any money. Please let the air authorites know the incident.
Overall very comfortable experience. Friendly and helpful staff, the bathrooms were maintained very clean on the long flight. I had requested vegan food which was offered, but honestly was not the best tasting food. Most of the food was cold foods lacking flavor and variety. Appreciate that your airline is trying to accommodate diet needs.
The lines to check in both at LAX and coming home from Cairo were ridiculous. Close to 2 hr to check in. I had pre-checked at LAX so I was able to get into a shorter line but it was still over 45 minute wait. In Cairo the travel agent with us was able to get us in the Business Class line but that was over an hour wait. Then in Cairo the plane was delayed over an hour. Missed the connecting flight. The airline gave us a food voucher for a few US chain fast food restaurants and the items that could be ordered we limited to only 2. Had to wait 4-5hrs for the next flight. I get that flights get delayed and its not really anyone's "fault" but the airline has an opportunity to demonstrate that they realize that this is a real inconvenience and step it up a bit.
