Austrian Airlines was fine - it was the Munich airport’s system for boarding with new EES requirements. Instructions were confusing, waiting lines were LONG and many people had to run to catch their flights.
1) have phone numbers where we can call... a human... not this bot stuff... 2) the austrian airlines crew directs us to the airport lost and found for left behind objects, then the airport lost and found directs us back to them. Listen y'all, if you can't get this straight, what are you thinking expecting us to? Cheap, unprofessional, looks like a airline on the way to going under. If you can't afford well-trained staff... well... ask not for whom be bell tolls... it tolls for you.
Despite the booked seats in front of the land we were moved to the back of the plane even first like 8 lines were totally without pasangers. When I tried to sit on empty seat flight attendant asked me to go to my dedicated seat in the fully crowded back of the plane. She was not able to explain why. Food was very poor on flight LAX - VIE.
We have travelled on 13 December with Austrian Airlines from Yangon through Bangkok and Vienna to Varna. The first flight operated by Thai Airlines was nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the same thing about the next two flights which were operated directly by the Austrian Airlines. During our flight from Bangkok to Vienna: > The service was very poor – serving of food and drinks was disorganized, late and not combined, the stewards were walking back and forth without doing anything substantial for the passengers. Even the morning breakfast was very late with a cup of coffee almost while landing (after a reminding). > The food itself was OK-ish but for a 12-hour flight, there were no snacks/bites in between dinner and breakfast as it is with the other airlines. > The cutlery was wooden, most probably recycling, but very unpleasant to eat with. > The stewards were not rude but not friendly and/or helpful > And also, half of the passengers had travel sets, others did not. The flight from Vienna to Varna was another surprise: firstly, the flight was late and secondly, they were serving only water free, even the coffee was paid, so were the snacks, but we had to pay to reserve seats. The whole experience is as if it was a low-cost airline. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend using the services of Austrian Airlines: the ticket prizes are quite the same as of the other carriers flying to this destination and you would have much pleasant time.
I paid for carry-on bag, but they did not let me take it on board, persuaded to check it in because the flight was full. I agreed to help them out, and they mixed up tag numbers and my bag got lost. I had very valuable things in there, and my whole vacation experience was ruined. I even asked the boarding assistant why the tag number was different from the assigned one, but they assured me it was alright and the bag will arrive to my destination. Nothing arrived of course. Incompetence of boarding assistants cost me the loss of all my things.
They lost our luggage and there has been no news for 5 days. I called their office and they said they can’t help us, we don’t do anything about it.
Management and staff att viena wasn’t professional,and they are not good by how to communicate and solve the problem, I was shocked , as I know Austrian airlines was amusing Thank you
I bought the ticket a month before my flight but checked in couple hours before my flight and had to wait seat assignment just before take off. On top of that there was not enough room in the overhead bin for my luggage.
The flight was late. We accommodated other missed flights, and the plane was full of people, without space to store carry-on luggage. They lost our checked luggage for the entire flight and delivered it after two days.
Very efficient and profesional .One of the best. I had 20 minutes between 2 flights and still made it amazing.
Food and entertainment were not available, so my rating on those items isn't actually correct. There should be a "Not relevant" or "Didn't use it" option.
Waiting outside for a long time is not really necessary
The flight boarded nice and early and this meant there was no sudden rush at the gate. The only down side was the cabin was very cold 🥶
Flying from Hamburg to Stansted was a nightmare if I have to be honest, the flight was due to leave at 15:50 and we ended up not taking off properly till 16:56. They really don’t have enough people doing the sorting of baggage where you get the sticker for your case before the security check, going through security was 10x more faster then the whole baggage situation.
After passing through boarding gates we had to wait for 45 minutes in a small space with no place to sit.
On time boarding, on time departure and early arrival. As it should be. Yes, the comfort and benefits are very poor, but therefore the ticket is 6 times cheaper than with a flag carrier. So I am not complaining about it. You get what you pay for.
How terrible! Extremely bad! I can not even wait for 5 minutes, because the Berlin airport does not work in the security facilities and can handle people. No communication, although we were assured by about 50 travelers that the airline is informed and is waiting for us.
The distance between seats was narrow. So my recommendation is to increase it

We missed the flight due to very slow security control and lack of last call announcement. We only found out at the gate that the gate is closed. Altogether 14 or 15 people missed the flight FR4500 from Cologne to Dublin.
Connecting in Frankfurt was a nightmare! Whoever scheduled our connection in Frankfurt for 90 minutes should be fired! Passport control takes 3 hours, minimum! Avoid Frankfurt airport at all costs! Never again! The airport is 3rd world. The WORST!
It was ok no problem on flight after the ordeal with passport control. Long line and nasty officers not very helpful.

The agent, who took my mother to her gate, kept talking with one of her male coworkers and treating my mother like a sack of potatoes. She was ignoring my questions because she was too busy flirting with her male colleague. This was a very unprofessional behavior. We also had to wait for close to half an hour for an agent to arrive.
Very good flight, only problem is the boarding process where some peoples do not have manners and do not how to fly ( preparing your documents, oversized carry-ons, not understanding or feigning to not understand directives).
Didn't have bar code on our phone based boarding pass. People at the counter didn't notice. We walked to security, couldn't get through, had to go back to check in to get a paper boarding pass.
I really like it and travel to Europe and back with Lufthansa, but it is getting expensive, a bit beyond my me
Not available crew to load the luggage for all the passengers,comon situation for local European destinations , not acceptable situation, never Lufthansa again 😉 🙄
Flight was overbooked. Crew did a great job but passengers weren’t nice and really not patient. Flying in these times is not the best idea tbh.
More legroom for me as a tall person. I shouldn’t have to be discriminated because of my height just like someone’s wheelchair does have to pay extra to be accommodated comfortably.
Good, efficient flights both ways. Didn’t have food and no entertainment so can’t comment on those. Friendly staff that let me move to a row with no one booked.
Nice to have reclining seats for a change and great to have internet access
Delay after delay: no information besides what my Kayak app provided was provided about the delays. The plane was at the gate. Also, the gate, 100A, was incredibly warm, and the sun was beaming in. Boarding was disorganized with no groups announced.
Kayak - EDreams - Eurowings need to define clearer the hand luggage terms. I asked for add. hang luggage got charged by Eurowings for having add. hand luggage that was not included in my booking. I travel alot! I know the size dimensions never paid twice for hand luggage and cannot chase Edreams or put Eurowings in the wrong. Also there was severe delays on this flight. Issue getting bus on arrival and missed connections. Unfortunate will not use Eurowings
We checked in 4 luggage and only got 3 back & lost our 4th luggage. Our flight was from berlin sept 22. We arrived Copenhagen but only received 3 luggage. Missing 1 still 24 hrs after our arrival and our Cruise will be leaving tomorrow 9/24/2023. This is the second time that our luggage gets lost/delayed in Copenhagen

Smallest seat I have ever seen. And they had a label with more Legroom but in fact where really tiny.
No cancellations but one flight delayed due to arrival airport industrial action. Comfortable
I was held-up at boarding by rude employee who insisted that I had to wait until all other passengers had boarded the lane before issuing me a boarding pass so I can board the plane. I could not check-in earlier and get a boarding pass since I had flown directly from Dusseldorf.
