Changed to older plane with old set-up in Business class.
PLEASE GIVRE US PERMISSION TO BOOK SEAT NUMBER EVEN WITH FEES
My seat number was changed unilaterally after confirmed online checkin from widow to aisle. This applies to the Istanbul-Port louis flight. Seat was also changed for the Antalya-Istanbul flight but this was because of aircraft change, I was informed. That flight was delayed because of a technical problem with the original aircraft.
In this long haul flight, flight attendants never stopped moving and giving excellent service. Very impressive. Very comfortable seats and excellent food
Good overall flight. Excellent crew. Food options could be improved.
Seemed like a cramped A321 config. Roasting hot cabin most of the flight. Wifi did not work. Lots of first time fliers, I think, who didn't know how to follow a seat assignment.
Food was horrible and not suitable the world famous Turkish cuisine and hospitality.
The seat did not recline and we called the stewardess, he forced it to recline, but when we landed, it did not come forward because the seat was broken. The stewardess came, He tried to do it but couldn't do it, the flight commander came and spoke to us in a bad tone, telling us to get out of here, she waited at the head and acted as if there was a child and we couldn't get up, it was very shameful, I don't even know if it's true, but she said if you don't get up, the plane will not land and will keep turning around. Then a passenger pushed the seat from behind and it worked. Then we wanted to talk to the supervisor again, but she did not come next to us. We fly so much and this is the first time we encountered such a style.
There many good things about the flight but What could be better is the seat room after a chair reclines in the row ahead of you.
The lines to check in both at LAX and coming home from Cairo were ridiculous. Close to 2 hr to check in. I had pre-checked at LAX so I was able to get into a shorter line but it was still over 45 minute wait. In Cairo the travel agent with us was able to get us in the Business Class line but that was over an hour wait. Then in Cairo the plane was delayed over an hour. Missed the connecting flight. The airline gave us a food voucher for a few US chain fast food restaurants and the items that could be ordered we limited to only 2. Had to wait 4-5hrs for the next flight. I get that flights get delayed and its not really anyone's "fault" but the airline has an opportunity to demonstrate that they realize that this is a real inconvenience and step it up a bit.
Very comfortable plane. The food was very good (for airplane food). The crew was great
I liked the flight, the attendants, and the comfort. But the gate for boarding was poor. Even the elderly had to climb down many many steps to the bus and climb up to the plane.
There was no entertainment or food service (short flight). The flight was delayed more than an hour.
It was a very smooth and on time flight experience. The crew was really friendly and polite. We were well informed about the flight, etc.
Cancelled 90 min AFTER Departure! We had to deplane and wait another hour plus for the flight to be shown as cancelled for the customer service team. There were many many angry customers.
Good and they are leaving at time and arriving on time
Horrible airport ever. We stood in the security check line for more than an hour. It was past boarding time and we were still waiting in line for the security check. With 2 children and a medically ill person we had a very stressful transit.
Flight cancelled. I was rebooked without discussion or options. Had booked a flight with a bed and when I was rebooked, the flight had a recliner seat. Felt cheated.
Cancelled - booked on train; and then flights started running! I spent 5 hours with 2 changes on train while flights started and is 50 min
We booked a flight with Lufthansa. Found out when we got to the airport that it was with Eurowings, I would have never booked a long flight with a low cost carrier. They charged for everything: headsets, blankets, anything you normally get on an international flight.
