Overall, everything was fine—the service, the food, and the entertainment—but the boarding process in Lisbon was a total mess. I’m not sure I’d fly with TAP again. It’s absurd to have to pay for good seats at the front of the plane only to board last; the overhead bins above your seat are likely already full thanks to passengers who boarded earlier—even though they might be seated at the back of the plane. I will think very carefully before flying with TAP Portugal again; it seems to me that they need to review their boarding process. I understand the logic of filling the plane from back to front, but the seats at the front are more expensive. Horacio Rodriguez
Boarding was delayed by one hour because cleaning and catering crews did not board the plane in time. Take off was delayed for another 40 minutes because of "rush hour scheduling". Vague descriptiion. My in-flight entertainment system was stuck initializing. The flight attendant indicated that they could not reset it without resetting everyone's system. Overall, a miserable experience.
The cabin crew was very courteous, professional, and courteous. Great service!
Better leg room than expected in economy. Nice crew. Adequate bathrooms. Seat cushions a little thin, but recline well and have adjustable headrests. Best value. Liked having nonstop from ORD to Lisbon.
Excellent! Flight left a bit late but overall a pleasant experience.
Let’s be honest. You know you are boarding a flight where the seats don’t recline and you need to pay double the price for bread, gin and water. But beware, they test your tolerance to torture pre boarding. They call all British passport holders. Then tag cabin luggage to be checked. And the ground staff pretend not to know what is happening and just says - please ask the other staff.
The crew was excellent. The food was not good. I have taken many international flights and the meal was not good by comparison.
On-time flight. Nothing out of the ordinary. The food offering upfront could be better.
Of course food only if you pay and no entertainment. As always with TAP they collected hand luggage and you must check in. This happens mostly with TAP and is not acceptable because others are having three pieces or more. TAP should be consequent and collect hand luggage only from those who have more than one piece.
Food was terrible. Bamboo utensils are just not working out. A lot of plastic waste. Pillows and blankets were not good, a lot of static electricity. Crew did their job well.
The crew could deploy more customer focus and not frown when asked a question. I’m speaking of one lady in particular who raised a hand in my face for me to wait whe I tried to ask a question and never came back to me. Very unprofessional and rude.
They set someone on our assigned seats and we ended up finding seats for ourselves to ensure the family sits together.
Lufthansa crew both on the ground and in the sky were wonderful. I booked wheelchair service for all of our flights and it was handled perfectly. Kudos to all at Lufthansa.
Our Lufthansa flight MUC to IAD was cancelled 90 minutes after boarding requiring a night in Munich. Nightmare.
Flight was late incoming. Crew did a nice job trying to accelerate boarding. Flight was fine. My complaint is with the staff in the Lufthansa lounge in Paris. Clearly the desk attendant doesn’t like her job. Was rude and unhelpful. What’s the point?
Flight cancelled. Options were not good and I was rebooked with no discussions or options offered.
Awful awful rebooking experience. Stupid airline. Will never fly Lufthansa again. Annoying pilot.
Flight delays made me miss my connections. I almost missed my connecting flight because I had to get my luggage and go through immigration and then back into the airport. Connecting flight said it would be my problem if I missed it. I had to be rerouted through another city and came in 3 hours later than expected and had to hire an uber to get me home when I had everything planned out
There were kids on the plane playing games on phones with audio on. Also one misbehaved kid kept running up and down the aisle and there was no action by the crew or the mom. This negatively affected my otherwise good flight experience a lot.
