Pros (+) Location ideal -- right on main hwy into Goderich. Room was decent sized, reasonably maintained, and clean. Staff very friendly - and fast check in and out. Room has seen some recent paint and updating, and did have a microwave and fridge, ironing board and iron, TV, bathroom with a tub. Cons (-) Room smelled a bit musty/smokey/old on entry - a plug in air-freshner would go a long way to remedy this. Pavement in parking lot needs attention. Only one side of bed had a night table! An update of the bed comforter would also add a lot to visual appeal of room! Smoke detector dangling by one screw - minor maintenance issue.
