Pros (+) Relatively inexpensive.
Cons (-) Both evening staff during check in and morning staff during check out seemed disengaged and bothered by my presence. They both did their jobs I suppose but it could have easily been done by a kiosk. Breakfast did not appear appetizing. I grabbed coffee and bailed.

Pros (+) The staff is fantastic. The location, the room, and the bed were comfortable.
Cons (-) The toilet main water valve had been shut off because it kept making noise. Instead of fixing it, they just closed it. When I got up in the middle of the night I had to fight a roach. Not happy about that.

Pros (+) Well kept, old building with traditional flourishes. Upgraded room was quite appealing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall the stay was pleasant.
Cons (-) Room service failed us significantly (one day they removed towels and did not replace, and no replacement on toiletries during service) however the front desk staff was very pleasant and resolved all of our issues quickly. There wasn't much in the way of power outlets near the end tables, which was only a minor inconvenience, and there was no microwave in our room, though we had a fridge.
