Pros (+) I loved that this inn was a little out of the way. The view from our room was very serene. Awesome place for an great price.

Pros (+) It was a cute little hotel. I'd come back cause there wasn't anything so bad that we wouldn't go back. Also was a straight shot into town maybe a 10 or 15 min drive
Cons (-) Room was very small, and smelled like cigarette smoke even though you are not allowed to smoke in the rooms. Wifi was horrid only one bar of WiFi and it constantly was kicking you off makes it hard to plan your day if you Ned wifi

Pros (+) Skip the chain hotels clustered on I-94 and head a few miles south of the action to find this gem, which is located in the beautiful countryside south of Michigan City. I had an hour long conversation with the manager on marine molecular biology (I am a marine biologist interested in molecular biology) as he was a science writer. Super interesting guy (Don)! The other thing I liked was that, altho...
Cons (-) The room could have been cleaner, and there was no shampoo (albeit there was body wash). Although I like this place and recommend it, I feel it should be more of a $55-60/night kind of place, not the $71 that I paid. Still, I would stay there again, as the "back yard" is gorgeous!

Pros (+) I loved the price of the room and the location. You are away from a lot of the traffic of town. The linens were clean and there were a couple bottles of water for free in the mini fridge. Beds are comfy and not very loud. The man in the office was very kind and talkative. Great staff/owners.
Cons (-) The highway noise can be loud if you have a room near the front. The room smelled like dogs/animals, but this was expected since it is a pet friendly motel. The space under the nightstand was pretty dirty.
