Pictures showed a hot tub, and that had been filled in. The hallways and stairwells often smelled of canabis smoke. The vending and ice machine on the 4th floor were out of order. But the rooms were clean. The breakfast was meek but present. And the staff was kind. Not a bad stay, but nothing great.

My kids and I pulled into the lot, there was a cop driving slowly through the lot checking all the broken down cars. Stopped at one car and the large group of people gathered at one of the exits went out to argue with the cop. Every exit had large groups of people just hanging out on at the door. We stayed 3 nights. The room was dirty, permenant marker on the wall, shoe marks on the wall by the bed, hair in the shower, mildew in the entire bathroom. The hair dryer was melted. One night it smelled like pot in the hallway by our room, supposed to be smoke free. Garbage in the hallways that stayed there the entire trip. Pros (+) Bed was comfortable
Cons (-) Only about 2/3 of the lights in the room worked. There was no TV in the bedroom. the room was missing a lot of the switches to turn on the lights. There was a lot of questionable activities going on in and around the location. The hotel is need of some serious remodeling

Pros (+) The beds were great and tv entertainment was very good also breakfast was satisfactory
Cons (-) The shower was plugged and the air conditioner filter was clogged and lastly the pool and hot tub had far too much chlorine the high content of chlorine was affecting the enjoyment of the pool and hot tub our eyes were watering

Pros (+) We stayed so close to Mall of America, and there was a Denny's right next door open 24/7. This was good because we got in at 1:00 am. Nice pool and workout room and good breakfast. Very clean.

Pros (+) Room had new carpet and bed very comfortable. Everything was clean and lighting was adequate. Breakfast crew was awesome. They kept everything available and did it cheerfully. Dining room was also very clean and with enough space to serve/seat all who arrived for breakfast. First desk was also very efficient and helpful. This hotel was in a very good location for us and we enjoyed our stay!
Cons (-) All rooms should be equipped with safety bars for getting in and out of the tub/shower area. It is difficult to climb out of a tub without anything to hold on to.

Pros (+) It's next to a 24/7 Denny's restaurant. They have airport shuttle and relatively close to the airport.
Cons (-) Didn't feel safe as we saw cops taking a report for something that happend earlier the night we arrived. Its very outdated hotel.
