I have encountered an issue on the day of pick up. It was my first experience renting a car ever. I didn’t know I had to bring my credit card with me. I brought cash instead. I was supposed to receive a “voucher” via email which I never did. I was told I can’t pick up the car without the credit card. I had to go back home to get it. I was told I should be back within an hour, which I did. When I arrived with the card. I was told that the system is locked and I need to pay an extra 80 Euros ( $ 133.84) to get back into the system and complete the procedure. I was intimidated by being put under a lot of pressure even though I told them that I came back before the time agreed upon was up. I had to pay because when I checked the email, there was no option of refund if I cancelled. The guys working there were manipulative, and it was my first experience. I even told it doesn’t say anywhere in the booking that the system gets locked after an hour and there is a fine to pay to log in again. I also told them I was not informed about the credit card, they said you were auto receive a bouche with all the info which I didn’t. The guys working himself checked all the emails I received concerning my booking and he couldn’t find it. I was so upset and frustrated. On top of that the guys working told me he would give an upgrade for the car and he will get me a bigger size than the one mentioned in the booking just to push me to pay the extra money as there was no refund if I cancelled. After I paid the extra money and signed the document, we had to wait more than 30 minutes to get the car, all in the hot sun in a parking lot, there were no chairs, not even a small table to use for signing the documents. They were using the cover of the trunk of a parked car. When the car came it turned out to be the exact same one we were told we were getting the first time when we came to pick up the car. When we confronted him about his lies he just tried to shrug it off by saying this is the bigger car. We kept arguing with him and telling him the same thing over and over but in vain. He left us because there were so many people waiting and it was chaotic. When we got into the car, we were disappointed even more. The seats were stained and it was not wry clean as we were told. Also it was quite old with the floor carpet in the back peeled on both ends and very easy to make you trip if you are not careful. I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience. The drop off of the car was better because we were lucky there was only one customer there and the car came back in the same condition as received. I have trying to figure out who to contact to try and find out if this extra fine was legit or I was scammed. Also I found out that they took an extra $8.48 on the day of pick up and an extra $8.50 on the drop of day. Can you please let me know who to contact to get more help. I tried calling the number provided but it’s not working. I for sure will not use this company in the future. Thank you for your time.

People carrier

Really bad communication. The number they provided it belongs to a different company. They don’t have an actual counter at the airport. They just bring you the car from somewhere else.
