Pros (+) Room was spacious and spotless, beds were extremely comfortable. The pool & leisure was a brilliant addition. The bar was homely and all hotel staff were excellent. The rooms were really quiet too. The doors are obviously heavy duty as we never heard traffic on the corridors! Dinner was excellent and really good value
Cons (-) Breakfast wasn't great! Sausages were good but outside that not great. Watery scrambled egg, solid fried egg, chawlky beans and considering Monaghan is famous for mushrooms it's a shame they were tinned and seemed boiled in butter.
